I have never used chicory as a TREATMENT. I was reared in Louisiana and drank coffee with chicory all my life. In my case it has help with regulating constipation. I like chicory in both caffeinated and de-caffeinated coffee.

Had constipation and absorbtion issues bad enough to send me to a surgeon after getting anal fissures. I take soluble chichory root powder, which one can dose according to their needs and enjoy as a drink. I may mix it with coffee or milk replacement and drink slowly - too fast and it causes bloating and gas. Issues now are gone, no other treatment needed, as long as I drink daily. That is usually 1-2 hours before desired stool time and it always works.

Maybe the evidence is all the people who are sick since we’ve gotten away from using these things, since Monsanto stripped them all away and told every one to grow useless green lawns and poison ourselves and be prey to pharma.

Not used for liver, but i had to choose something. Chickory happened to be in a Chobani yogurt. It gave me a migraine. Why is this being added to yogurt? Happened once before, ut I jad forgotten, but don't recall the food.

I drink chicory in coffee almost every morning. I started it just for the taste, but I have found it curbs my appetite and makes it easier to maintain a diet.

Really helped me feel better when I had food poisoning mixed in a broth. Seemed to make my headache better too. Weird.

I have been using chicory root/inulin, 5 grams per day, every day. I use it to stay regular. Works like a charm, helps you cut back on sugar too, because it tends to have a slight sweet taste. Cheaper than Benefiber (originally was inulin until they switched to wheat dextrin) and works just as well. I use Swanson Ultra brand.

Used as an additive in fiber1 bar. Be careful for use for constipation, limit other fiber intake for the day. Will be over effective otherwise.
