A 77yr old male with prostate cancer. Took this on two occasions and each time I had an allergic reaction such as itching and a rash. Had to use prednisone to stop the reaction the 1st time. 2nd time I stopped taking it upon the 1st signs of reaction.

I started taking Nutraharmony's mushroom blend to strengthen my immune system, and I believe the maitake has been key. I’ve noticed fewer colds and I feel more resilient overall.

Maitake mushrooms are often included in mushroom complex supplements such as Nutraharmony's. I currently use one. I lerned that Maitake contributes to the synergistic effects of various fungi in a mushroom complex supplement. They are rich in bioactive compounds like beta-glucans, polysaccharides, and antioxidants, which support immune function by enhancing the activity of certain immune cells and reducing inflammation.

I have melanoma moles and they were getting big so I started the drops and Reishi Coffee and pills. Within 3 days my shoulder moles were pink and level with the skin and my mole on the back of my arm which was black and about an inch long was totally pink and shrunk more than half the size!

I have breast cancer .. three plus tumours and I would not have a mastectomy. I am a kinesiologist and I have great experience in seeing people heal themselves from all sorts of serious ailments, so I thought I would have a go, making sure I was scanned every 4 months. I thought I would write this post as a fellow kinesiologist found that my system needed maitake but when I took it my skin became like a lizard and I itched all over. It was unbearable. Likewise I found my body could not tolerate salvestrols which I found wonderful for shrinking my tumours. Answer!! My body is intolerant to salicilates -- I have 'triad' symptoms -- sinusitis, nasal polyps, extreme reaction to aspirin and asthma. BUT if you take a prescribed drug called monteleukast that will correct the bodies inability to handle salicilates .. which are in every fruit and veg as it is part of the plants defense mechanism ...and I can take the maitake and salvestrols. I hope this helps. I am so so pleased for everyone who has found maitake useful and now I can take it!! How bad!! Read More Read Less

I have a brain tumour and it had run out of cavity space. I was suppose to be getting radiation but decided to try the maitake d fraction as a last resort before this happened. Ive just had my mri and the tumour is shrinking. In one year the next mri is due and if the tumour is shrunk again the hospital is going to write a paper. It is a miracle to say the least.

I had breast cancer twice and had a 4 cm mass in my lung. I started taking Maitake after my cancer had come back. When they removed the 4 cm mass there were no cancer cells in the mass.... I know it was the Maitake Mushroom Pro4 extract..
