Menopausal hot flashes, weight gain. Have noticed hot flashes diminish greatly with dim and weight loss, five pounds in two months. Feel much better and less emotional.

Assuming DIM caused my reaction as nothing else changed in my routine -- took recommended 2 cap/day dose - by evening of second dose my eyes were swollen with huge bags under my eyes and puffy lids, and a pink bumpy rash on my trunk and arms. My throat seemed raw -- I took a Benedryl and stopped taking the DIM. Took a few days for the swelling to subside.

I started taking the pill in 2015 for contraceptive reasons. It cleared up my skin that wasn't bad but did have acne hormonally. I suffered with dryness and lack of libido as a result of the pill. What gynae's don't tell you is that the pill will actually make you not want to have sex and will put your body in that state too. Fast forward 2018/9 when I get off the pill for these reasons and when I learned more of its unnatural effects. The mild acne never came back until 2021 and it was worse like as in huge pimples around the chin which I never had before. I also had PMDD severely as time progressed. I watched Dr. BERG'S reviews on how to handle PMDD and hormonal acne with Dim and have been on it ever since. It cleared up my skin within a month and also improves mood significantly. I went off it for a 2/3 months to see if I could do without it, I can't as the acne came back a little bit but not bad. I always know now to check for natural ways to solve health issues, don't always take your doctors and gynae's word for everything. Read More Read Less

Ingrédient in a very expensive skin supplément - Skin Accumax for rosácea & dry skin. Took first 2 capsules with à meal as recommendad & was up all night with sévère headache, diahorrea & vomiting. Stopped taking suppléments then re-introduced gradually with fewer capsules. After a week or so started having dizzy spells’ nose bleeds blurred visión & extrême drowsiness. Research suggested It coule be vitamin overdose symptoms so stopped taking them & symptoms vanished in a few days. Tried again but dizzy spells retourned. Very scary & not helpful healthwise ta all. I’ve been taking my-inositol and magnesium to help with PCOS. At the direction of my dr. I started taking DIM two weeks ago in combination with the existing supplements to help flush out excess estrogen so to speak. I started bleeding an hour after taking the first pill, five days early when I’m always regular, and I had the heaviest bleeding I’ve ever experienced. Massive blood clots, like size of a cell phone, not kidding. My doctor said to stick with it because it may be my body “cleaning itself out” and I can’t do it anymore. I never stopped bleeding. My bleeding would ease off as the dose wore off then start in full force when I took my daily 200mg of DIM. It’s awful. I also had my chronic migraines in full remission because of the magnesium and DIM brought them back so much harder and so much worse. Maybe it works for some people but I hate everything about this supplement for me. Read More Read Less

I starting taking DIM suppliments from Cytoplan after watching loads of reviews, not by that particular brand though , on YouTube. The reason was I have suffered terribly the past 2 years with menstrual migraine and bad pms. After around 5 days of taking the tablets, although my period wasnt due (My migraine always starts on the 3rd day of menstruation), I began feeling really strange very quickly progressing to the worst migraine I have suffered with, I was vomiting constantly and it lasted 4 days , I had to just lay in a dark room. I contacted the company and they gave me a refund . Just recently they sent an email , as my purchase was on their files to say that DIM was no longer able to be sold and were offering suppliments alternatives instead . I can only sermise alot of complaints were made about this stuff . Im writing this as a big beware to you this is very strong stuff and might make you feel awful.Read More Read Less

Took 200mg of this as it was recommended for detox by my NutraHacker DNA results. Big. Fat. Mistake. Started out with anxiety about 4 hours after taking this, which I don't experience very often, but recognized what it was from other peoples descriptions. Followed by hearing a throbbing in my head at about hour 6. 8 hours in and I was experiencing a full blown migraine, complete with violent vomiting every hour for 8 hours. I felt like death. Day two was still a very painful headache, mostly at the back of my neck, no energy, and lots of belching. Day 3 I felt better, but stomach was still a bit upset. *MAYBE* I could tolerate this at 25mg, but I'm not willing to go through that ordeal again.Read More Read Less

TI’m k for perimenopausal symptoms of anxiety and hot flashes, mainly at night. Can’t say it helped but my periods which I get every couple months or so were a lot more tame. A lot less cramps. My boobs pretty much immediately got bigger while taking and sleep was way better. The day after I stopped taking boobs back to normal and sleep not so great. I took Thorne brand 1 pill a day (150) I took for 60 days. I stopped because I gained about 5 lbs snd my energy was not as good. So cons outweighed the good. Also got a major headache the first few days but that went away. Read More Read Less

I started to have bad hot flashes, on a constant level. I was first put on a progesterone/oestrogen patch and it woked pretty well for a few months, but had to stop due to hight bilirubin levels on my blood work. I wanted a natural way to deal with the anxiety and hot flashes and found out about DIM. After a month of use I can say that the hot flashes diminished, BUT: I started to have weird dull pain in the back/vase of my neck and headaches in same area. Also, I noticed that when I get up, I will feel my heart beat in the same area and in my ears and ita like my ears are filled with cotton for a few second. Super scary! The only thing ive changed to my routine in the last month is that I am taking DM nutrition DIM 200mg. Will stop today. Hopefully the headaches and pain will go away. Id chose hot flashes over those scary symptoms.Read More Read Less

I have PMDD, and my ARNP advised I start this product because she felt that my estrogen levels might be high (assumed this before bloodwork done). The product is DIM Detox. I’ve been taking it every morning and I also have been prescribed 150 mg Bupropion along with 2 other wellness probiotics. This product does give me a bit of cotton mouth, and I have noticed some slight zingy headaches throughout each day which I never got before. I’ve only been taking DIM for 3 weeks. My urine is bright neon yellow. My period is supposed to come, and it’s delayed now. Sorry if this next part is tmi, but my labia minors and vulva vestibule are itchy beyond belief, and I have had intermittent but intense hives for the last 4 days. I want to stop using this product, but the ARNP insists I “push through” this and just take 2 Zyrtec at nights to combat the rashes. Read More Read Less

Took a combined supplement, DIM 200mg with Cal-DG 100mg. First day seemed fine, I didn't sleep, but no other issues. By day 2, I started to feel a heaviness in my throat and phlegm building. Day 3 I felt awful, bloated, distended, crampy, headache, brain fog, dizziness and the worst, chest heaviness. I actually started to panic that my cancer had spread to my lungs, that's how awful I felt. By day 4, my throat felt super tight, not my chest, my throat, and started to freak out again. After rethinking everything I'd done over the last few days, the DIM dawned on me. Sure enough-finding reviews of side effects and allergic reactions! Was I having a mild anaphylactic reaction? Took an anti-histamine to find relief. Never again!Read More Read Less

Just wanted to share my experience with B-Complex vitamins, particularly in managing ADHD symptoms. After doing some research, I stumbled upon Nutraharmony B-Complex on Amazon, and here's my brief overview. I've been incorporating B-Complex into my routine as part of managing ADHD. While it's not a cure, I've noticed a positive impact on my focus and attention. B-Complex for ADHD or focus-related issues, it might be worth considering.

Prescribed this by a Naturopath for painful periods and PMS. Took for 8 months and didn't really notice a difference. About 6 months in, mood started to suffer and got significantly worse until I decided to stop taking it. I felt totally emotionally unregulated, within a week of stopping mood went back to normal, and hindsight really showed how irrational I was. It's been almost 4 months since I stopped and I have had period irregularities (very rare for me). I spotted for 6 weeks and had a horrible heavy period that caused anemia. Seems like it's slowly getting better but when you Google this supplement you see nothing but wonderful things about it. Be aware, this supplement can cause extreme hormone disruptions including major mood changes! Read More Read Less

Started DIM two weeks ago to supplement HRT pellets. Upset stomach pain and terrible diarrhea, no matter what I ate. Had diarrhea 4 out of 7 days after one week of starting. Called doctor, she said to stop taking it. No other explanation than the HRT pellets or this Dim supplement. My stomach can not tolerate this stuff.

I have taken this twice in the hopes of lowering my extremely high estrogen thanks to years of hormonal contraception (3 years sober recovering). First time was a 200mg twice a day. The worst migraine of my life, terrible reflux and I gained so much water weight and I was an absolute nightmare to my husband. I was on it for four months until I have up. The water weight thankfully fell off within days of stopping. Second time I tried a lower dose along with other liver detoxing supplements including salforaphane and Calcium D glucarate as I thought that might have been why it didn't work the first time and within 10 days I could tell my estrogen was rising again, constipation, insane sugar and carb cravings and hunger and mood swings. I'm so tired of the female struggles y'all. Read More Read Less

I feel the overall 3 rating is from the ease of use. It's easy to use. It shouldn't be included in the ratings honestly. If I could give this crap 0, 0, 0, I would. But I've had minor to mid liven level stomach issues for years associated with my hormones and military service. DIM after 1 use brought on a minor headache. Second day, extreme headaches followed by extreme dehydration, like all night drinking and mixing shots and beer level dehydration. Worse cotton mouth ever that lasted all day. Refused to take again. Stomach aches were severe, well beyond what I have been accustomed to dealing with 2-4 days a month, twice a month. If those worst days were a 6-8 out of 10, this stuff was several days of 8-10 pain, gas, nausea levels for several days after just taking one 200 mg pill for two days in a row. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS if you have minor headaches to migraines, any stomach issues or tend to be exposed to higher dehydration risk like working out more than 15 minutes a day, high temperatures, or a low to high caffeine intake. I was prescribed this when I started HRT and had pellets inserted. All I was told was that this was supposed to "balance" my estrogen, even though my estrogen levels were high, since I was now taking testosterone. Unfortunately, I had horrible reactions to this. I immediately had horrible migraines that were debilitating and lasted 3 full days. Regular medicine like tylenol and advil didn't work. I had to take migraine medicine. I also experienced constant, explosive diarrhea that kept me home from work for 3 days. My pee turned a dark, copper red. As soon as I stopped taking it, my energy returned. Nausea and Diarrhea stopped. This medicine is dangerous and not for me. I'm shocked I wasn't warned of any side effects by my doctor. Read More Read Less

I have Severe Estrogen Dominance, with symptoms of Cervical ectropion, Severe Endometriosis, Adult Acne, Constant severe tenderness of my breasts, and some discoloration/spots on my feet and ankles, also Migraine headaches. I have used this product for 3 weeks and am seeing amazing results with this treatment. I am taking pregnenolone with the DIM. I am very satisfied so far with the results.

After starting these pill I got extremely bad migraines in the back of my head and base of my neck, I had extremely bad diarrhea to the point I had to stay home from Church, and last night I woke up in my sleep multiple times with a racing heart and by the middle of the night to this morning my hips and legs hurt so bad it feels like I've ran a 3 day marathon. I've never felt anything like this so it scared me pretty bad. DIM+ detox is the only thing I've added in the last couple of days so I'm not taking it anymore. I almost thought about trying the lowest dose (mine 150mg) but honestly after all that I'm too scared to do it. I have not had blood work yet. My advice is proceed with caution. Best of luck!!Read More Read Less
