Painful osteoarthritis - This is the only thing that has helped with the severe bone and joint pain. I no longer feel like I am twenty years older than I am, and can keep up with the kids again! This might upset a sensitive stomach but since I have to use a proton pump inhibitor anyway (because of IBS) I can't comment on that... I have been on it (15mg daily) for one month. I did learn right away ...

Burps that smells like farts(the burps happen frequently because of the severe gas), severe gas and diarrhea, major discomfort. The benefits do not outweigh the negatives. And as far as I can find, this stuff is actually only approved for dogs and for a one time use in cats. Stay away.

Have had chronic costochondritis for many years, with severe impact on everyday functioning until I was prescribed Meloxicam. This medication is a miracle drug for me. Taken over only 2 or 3 days at a time, symptoms are completely relieved, and I am generally then pain free until the next bout of costochondritis occurs. Had the same result after a persistent elbow inflammation that would not respond to physiotherapy - completely asymptomatic after only three days. I would not expect this to be everybody's experience - I am lucky that this drug works so well with my body chemistry.Read More Read Less

Severe scoliosis pain. I have over 50 degree scoli and am 35, the meloxicam helps take the bad edge of pain in general but not completely. I know when my pain peak happens (about 1pm-4pm) and i take it with a couple crackers each time or there will be a stomach burning. So i try to take it late morning and about 3pm. and then use 2 extra strength Tylenol if struggling still but a little time away from it to keep stomach okay. One weird thing that i'm experiencing is a weird mental calmness affect. I've never been on anti-depresents but I feel like I don't care. Coming from a high stress driven personality that's not bad, its just different. I think this is going to get me by until i can get surgery if combined with the combo of my PT/yoga work outs, swimming/walking, meditaion every day. Also meditation (abide) has helped with the depression and anxiety from the chronic pain levels as well as taking magnesium at night (natural muscle relaxer). I did temporarily stop taking tumeric and cbd when i started on meloxicam due to possible interactions; but i would consider putting those back in the night routine at low doses. I would recomend meloxicam to people, i take the 7.5mg two times a day. And i found the times that are most effective for me10:30 and 3pm. my pain peaks still happen. I was walking yesterday and had huge pinching in my upper back, but was able to pray and and breath into the area, and stretch out of itRead More Read Less

I didn't see fast results from this, but after stopping and restarting taking it a couple times I have decided it definitely does work. I think it takes a week or two to really make a difference. Ibuprophen works well for my aches and pains, especially my back. Meloxicam over the long term seems to work even better including for my hip where the Ibuprophen was less effective. Helps with my fingers too.

Arthritis, Baker's cyst, in lots of pain with swelling, especially in my legs and feet. Walking was painful. I was put on small dose of Prednisone, which helped all this, but which my doctor told me to discontinue because of the danger, so I was frustrated, since the swelling and pain were returning. Meloxicam was prescribed a few days ago, and everything is better again. I can walk and even do short workouts at the gym. The pain is still slightly there, but is barely noticeable. I'm sure, reading other reviews, there are conditions this medicine doesn't treat, but this stuff worked very well for me, with no side effects.Read More Read Less

The drug relieved my back pain but side effects made me stop taking it. I was on it for two weeks. Stomach issues, rash on my face and neck and I became highly sensitive to the sun. My face was badly burned while using SPF 100, a hat and makeup while playing golf. I’m stopping it now. But it did relieve my back pain.

Terrible osteoarthritis. Meloxicam 15 mg works very well for me. I do not have any stomach issues or side effects from it. I realize we are all different, but it has been a Godsend for me.

My knees have been killing me for a couple years now and getting worse. Dr prescribed meloxicam as a first step to see if it would help. 2 days in and knee pain was greatly reduced. 1 week in and all but gone. It’s amazing to stand from sitting or walk without pain. It even relieved pain in my hands and shoulders. So far no side effects to speak of, just relief.

I started taking Meloxicam for shoulder and leg pain. One pill in the morning and one at night. Pain went away but as time went on my joints started to swell up. Both my hands and knees. I was going on my 3rd week so I stopped. Now my hands and knees are killing me, feels like arthritis, but I don't have arthritis. Went to the pharmacy, they had no answers nor did my doctor. So I'm using ice and heat to get the swelling down.

Aw hell no. Within 20 minutes alleviated moderate RA joint pain predominantly in neck and shoulders. 30 minutes post ingestion intense stomach burning ensued. Relieved with omeprazole. Followed by onset of migraine. 24 hours later all side effects abated. Pass! I am going back to Tizanidine.

my frozen shoulder was extremely painful. One dose my movement went from 20% to almost 90% and pain was down from say a 9 to 2. It's been 3 weeks now and I feel great I started playing basketball again, and lifting some light weights. Highly recommend.

Prescribed for hand to wrist injury primarily similar to warehouse lifting for assembly lines, after ten hours and a snack and water there was four hours of on and off vomiting, frequent stool release, little abdominal area pain but a continuous right side brain pain that is on day five even with taking store brand headache reducer. I'm still not smiling. Eighty six cents for 30 count. This oral pill is comfortable to swallow, but it only made my cranial head not think about my hand pain. This is not the type of treatment I had in mind when developing a hand injury in an attempt to satisfy a demand goal. Not sure how long the headache and frequent stools will continue so I have discontinued eating until the head pressure is way more painless to the temple nerve Read More Read Less

I was prescribed this from a Pain Management doctor who thought this would help my back pain and pain into my legs as well. After trying it, I am now dizzy and don't feel much pain relief, even my wife stopped taking this medicine so it's not a very good one for pain, do NOT recommend to anyone!

I was told to take one tablet every 12 hours. I've taken it for two days now and it is flat out not working. The Tylenol and Motrin combo that you can get from Walmart seems to work better than this crap.
