Im a 21 year old woman and i had absence in my period for about 9 months! So when i went to the doctor she perscribed me this and after 4 or 5 days of taking it, i started my period. only thing it was heavier than usual, but i did't mind since the long absence of it (i lost a pair of pants). And the up is i was much much more sexual while taking it. But my period should start the beginning of september so i hope it comes again!

I am a 46 yr old female who has ALWAYS had my cycle every 28 days! UNTIL the last 2 yrs. My Dr. put me on this because I hadn't had a cycle for 60 days. I took it for 5 days ONLY to jump start my system again, it worked like a charm. 24hrs after taking the last dose I started my cycle.

After trying several other methods, my OBGYN prescribed this and it's worked every month for five months. I've had a normal cycle every month. The first month, I had very heavy cramping but I atribute that to how long I'd gone without a period. After the first period, the rest were very normal.

Currently on combination HRT Side effects include: dizziness, moodiness, nausea, spotting and hot flashes.

I've been taking this medication for 2 years due to absence of my period. This is a great pill to flush out the body but not a good pill if you want to get pregnant because it does'nt help you ovulate, just to have a period. I have not experienced any side effects from this medication. It also helps jumpstart not only the missing period but also the next two and then afterwards you may have to visit the doctor again to jumpstart your periods again.

I was prescribed this medication after not having a period for 6 months. I took 10 mg for 10 days. I had some spotting on days 6, 7, & 8. Three days after finishing the medication I started my period. The only thing I noticed as far as side effects was that I was more tired than usual. Other than that my experience was really good.

I am taking the medicine to stop irregular bleeding. I am on a 10 day double dose prescription. I have been itching, depressed, constipation, hormone imbalance, and headache. I don't like the effects of the medicine it's good to stop the bleeding but overall the side effects are way too severe.

Maybe it's to soon to give an accurate rating, but today I took dose 2 of 4 of the oral pill. Not having my period for 7 months and building up PMS, this pill has made me feel normal again. I don't have the blues so far. My breasts are tender. My right arm is crampy. I can't sleep for the life of me. However, I'm not having mood swings!

Dr gave to me for a period with large clots that would not stop for months. works within a few days to stop the bleeding. experienced some nausea,back ache,swolen breasts,etc...better than nonstop bleeding. however prolonged use causes major weight gain. once bleeding stops have Dr find something else to help regulate your cycle. there are other options to help regulate cycle & balance out hormones if that is why you are taking this medication

I have pcos and had not had a period since 5 months prior to starting this the doctor told me i would have a hard time getting pregnant we even had to get my husband to have a sperm test his results only 6% we had been together 13 years and never a baby i took this medicine around dec 4th 2010 and my period did not start until christmas on jan 4th went to hospital due to severe back pain and passing clots well turns out i was pregnant don't know if i was already pregnant before starting the pills we ended up losing our baby but it looked like a normal period until 10 days later when the clots came i have just stopped bleeding its been almost 3 weeks. After reading the other reviews, I was nervous about taking this drug. However, I must've really needed this drug because it has worked wonders for me! No negative side effects, only hugely positive ones! My energy level has increased, my mood has increased, my libido has greatly increased! My skin looks better, I'm losing weight! My periods have become more normal! I'm thrilled & hope that this changes will become my "new normal"!!!

I have been trying to get pregnant after stopping birth control. I had three regular periods but every month the were coming later and later then the stopped for three months. I went to Doctor and he gave me these to jumpstart my cycle. I was given a five day supply and told to take two evry day. It worked great I started my period within days of taking and had a pre birth control period (alot heavier than when I was on birth control) Hopefully my cycle will return to normal and I can get pregnant this time. I did have bad side effects on days 3 and 4 of taking this. Really bad headaches and nausea. mood dosorders/ depression

I've only been taking this medication for 10 days so I don't know if it's working or not, but I have noticed some side effects...almost constant naesua, pelvic cramps, and everything I eat & drink tastes horrible. Upside...I have lost 6 lbs.

I was prescribed this to stop post menapausal bleeding/spotting after 4 days i'm still spotting waht happens if I quit taking this drug? Will I spot More?

I have been getting the worst headaches since starting this medication. My doctor prescribed me it for 10 days to get my menstral cycle back in to the swing of things (never missed a period and it's been two months now without one and I have taken 2 pregnancy test) Not only are the headaches bad but I have gained weight and because extremely moody! Ugh never thought I would say this but I JUST WANT MY PERIOD TO COME!!!!

I have been prescirbed this medication to stop my cycle. I have been bleeding for more than 2 months with heavy bleeding, pains in my belly, and clots. I have been taking it for about 2 weeks now and there is a difference but a bad one. I am having more blood clots now and more bleeding. My stomach hurts and it is hard for me to focus. My doctor thinks that I may have Fibroidic Tumors in my uterus that is causing the bleeding. I will not know until I get my test results back. I'm not really sure why she prescribed this medication to me if it isn't meant to stop my period. Any suggesstions?Read More Read Less
