I have developed a yeast infection during my pregnancy and was prescribed terconazaole to treat it. I've only been using it for 3 nights now and I am very satisfied with it. Yes it is messy, and YES it drips all day and night and Yes sex is out of the question for 7 nights but so far all the ichtiness, and irritation has completely stopped. I only wish i was precribed this medication sooner.

Let me just say this.... I love this medicine hands down. It's the best. I read the reviews of others before taking it, and was scared as heck.. im 34 weeks pregnant and have been dealing with vaginal problems for the past 2 to three months.. I ended up getting BV and was prescribed antibiotic gel for that. I thought my irritation was going to be over. I noticed mild recovery but I was still experiencing uncomfortable symptoms like itching, burning, swelling, tenderness and misery above all.. I was so fed up with it all.. plus my pregnancy makes everything that much worse. Last Friday I talked with my doctor and told her I might have a yeast infection after Taking the antibiotics. She texted me and of course I have it. So I was prescribed this because I told her I will never take monistat ever again.. im on my 4th night and I've experienced nothing at all but pure relief.. since the first night using it, my symptoms have all gone.. my discharge cleared up quickly and even that was a big great sign for me.. this medicine did not leak at all.. and no mess throughout the day. I wasted money on pads. It did not burn or itch ever. And no side effects like flu symptoms. It was so easy to use, and the applicator was gentle to push in. I love this medicine. It's a life saver. My girl is finally happy and feeling like herself again.. I also have less fear going into labor now.. I could jump for joy. Read More Read Less

I was prescribed this medication for a yeast infection because difulcan didn’t completely knock it out even after three doses. After taking terconazole at night, the next morning I woke up with flu like symptoms: fever of 102, body aches, and chills despite the heat being on in my house. I don’t take anything but a multivitamin so my first thought was this medicine. I went to get tested immediately for Covid and the flu and both came back negative. I did test positive for strep (despite having no sore throat) and I know strep can also cause flu like symptoms but I’ve had strep before and it was never like this. I really believe it’s the terconazole, though my doctor disagreed even though flu like symptoms are listed as an adverse reaction on the medicine pamphlet. Read More Read Less

I’ve had a yeast infection for about a month now .. diflucan didn’t work for me . OB prescribed me this cream and it itches the inside of my vagina . I pray it’s working but I honestly feel like I have more of an itch than before taking the medication. Before I wasn’t itching or burning . As soon as I insert the cream I begin to itch but it’s not the outside of my vag it’s definitely the inside . I can say the first night it hurt to insert the applicator; however, the 2nd and 3rd night it did not hurt to insert the applicator which I believe is good . BUT it stilll makes me itch from the inside .. which is completely confusing to me . Also it changed the color of my discharge ? Read More Read Less

Although this medication is fairly effective for me at treating yeast infection, this has got to be one of the worst treatments out there for people with sensory processing disorder. I cannot recommend this LESS for anyone with sensory issues or sensitive vulvas. The cream leaks out of you within minutes of applying, which will continue for at least an hour due to body heat melting the cream. It's so uncomfortable in ways I cannot even describe to people who don't have a vagina or haven't used this product. I'll take the horrific bitter tasting pill, thank you very much.Read More Read Less

i had a yeast infection that diflucan did not cure. the doctors suspected an uncommon strain of yeast and prescribed this cream. it was better than monistat in that it didn't burn or itch. i dont know if it worked because i couldn't tell on the discharge but my symptoms had gradually stopped.

Terconazole was prescribed to me to treat my yeast infection. I felt that it indeed was messy. However after the first night of using it I felt immediate relief. Some of the other reviews read as though patients were taking it during the day time rather than right before bed and had a harder time keeping the medication in place. I recommend following the instructions. Another review stated how the filling of the applicator didnt work and how it just got everywhere. Again follow the instructions and screw the applicator to the top of the tube and it works just fine. My doctor acknowledged that it may cause some itchiness however reduced. She recommended using a Monistat vaginal itch cream along with this product. This is what I have done and I have had zero problems. I would also say that some people have allergies and may react differently and you should give it a try regardless of someone else's experience.Read More Read Less

The use of this product is impossible. Cant even get it in the applicator to use. The metal tube is hard to squeeze to get product out, once you do the cream goes everywhere except in the applicator. Got 1 use outta the whole tube, the rest squeezes out all over the sides. Terrible design, waste of money.. if your doctor recommends this ask for another prescription..

I’m 30 weeks pregnant and I was very nervous about using this product after reading all the negative comments, but it was worth a shot for me to feel better. And honestly I can say after inserting the application the first day I felt relief no more itching or burning from the yeast . I highly recommend it for pregnancy.

I haven’t seen any updated reviews, I’m 27 weeks pregnant and was having no symptoms other then mild cramping. So I went to the OB and she did a exam and said you have a bacterial infection, and ordered me the cream right away. I was nervous because the reviews and didn’t want it to make me worse. So I waited a day and did it at night for 3 nights.i didn’t have burning or itching but I didn’t have that to begin with. It’s just kinda gross, leaky and everytime you pee you know some comes out. Throughout the day you definitely have to wear a panty liner or something. I did notice everyday since starting this I’ve woken up with a headache, I called my OB and she said it’s probably not from the med. so I noticed I’m also taking a Tylenol everyday to help with the headache. I get migraines to begin with but haven’t had them in a while, so I just find it ironic. But other then it being a messy situation I really so far haven’t had anything bad reactions or anything. I’m also pregnant and having a tough pregnancy so it could be masked by that. Hope I can help. I know some of these reviews scared me a bit. I’m one to go right to reviews. Read More Read Less

Didn’t itch, wasn’t painful and didn’t cause swelling like the Monistat. Just really messy and a lot of leakage

I believe they need to improve with their tube that comes with it. its very difficult to use it plus you are trying to apply and cream gets all over the place.

The application is awful. Itâ??s messy and because of my yeast infection Iâ??m a bit swollen and the applicator was extremely painful for me to even put in the top kept scraping my vaginal walls. I have had increased itching and no relief. I also started to feel sick and weak. Iâ??m 26 weeks pregnant and my baby became less active while on this medicine. I stopped after first use

I am supposed to use this for 7 days. After applying the fourth night's treatment, the itching and burning got worse!!! Worse than before treatment. I couldn't sleep because it was so bad. I called my gyn and she prescribed the pill and said to continue with the cream as well. So I'm going to continue to see if it does eventually help but so far I'm really disappointed and hope it doesn't get worse than this. Oh and I should add that this is only my 2nd yeast infection in my life (first happened 16 years ago) so it's not like my body is used to this type of treatment. So please be careful before starting this cream over something else, as it may make your symptoms worse!!Read More Read Less

Honestly, I have no idea if it's helping with my yeast infection. I mean I don't have itching or anything but I'm not sure what it's doing on the inside. So maybe it's working. It's a little messy. The only thing I do know is I've been in the worst pain of my life since taking this medicine. I've have severe menstrual cramps and pain for the past 3 days. I feel sick to my stomach. The worst side effects. Increased heart rate. I'm thinking I should stop taking this medicine and seek an alternate cause difucan didn't work. Honestly, the pain is unbearable. I feel like I'm on my period. And not even taking a pain reliever helps. Let me know if this even worked for anyone and if I should ride the pain out please. Read More Read Less

Do not recommend. I had a yeast infection for over a week. Took diflucin 2 doses didnâ??t work.so was prescribed this medication. Used it one night woke up with itching swelling and worse then what I was before I started the medication. There has to be something better than this for females with infections.

I went to the OBGYN for a checkup and found out I had a yeast infection despite no noticeable symptoms. It most likely arose from the antibiotics I took for BV a month prior. I was first prescribed Diflucan (no reaction to this drug) and was then prescribed a 3 day suppository of 80mg Terconazole two weeks later with no checkup for a yeast infection in between the two treatments. My body HATED the Terconazole. On the 1st day, I woke up with a throbbing headache and horrible body aches. By evening those aches were accompanied by chills. I was basically bedridden the whole day. My symptoms subsided by midnight so I took the 2nd dose. Within a few hours, my entire body spasmed uncontrollably with chills. My heart raced, and all my muscles ached from the shivering. I couldnâ??t control it. This lasted about 3 hours. Scariest thing ever. I debated on going to the ER, but decided to wait it out instead, mainly because I couldnâ??t move from the uncontrollable shivering. I had night sweats after that and then a minor headache and body ache the rest of the day. Reluctantly, I took the 3rd dose (my doctorâ??s office was closed on the weekend so I couldnâ??t get a hold of them to get their opinion) and â??luckilyâ? I only had a horrid headache for this last day. Never again would I take this drug.Read More Read Less

When I got prescribed terconazole, I immediately Googled it to see what the reviews were. I saw nothing but negative reviews, 1-3 stars out of 5. So I was a little nervous. Let me just say, I know everyone's body is different and have different reactions. But this was product was great for me(I have only been using this for 3 days). My doctor is having me take this for 7 days, and after 3 I feel SO much better! I am so glad I trusted my doctor, rather than some unhappy people online! (: Good luck!Read More Read Less
