My breastfed son was getting terrible gas from swallowing excess air due to my overactive let down. At first I only gave the drops when he seemed fussy, and was't seeing results. my pediatrician then explained it was better to use the drops on a schedule, every 4-5 hours. It changed his little life and I suggest this to all new mommas. Wish I would've known about this with my other 3 kids!

I was giving Mylicon drops to my daughter for gas. It did absolutely nothing for her. When I mentioned something to my pediatrician, the pediatrician said that recent studies have shown Mylicon is about as effective as water for the treatment of gas and she recommended I stop wasting my money. My son has colic and gas I find it works if given before onset of normal colic. Or during gas attacks it takes 15-30min to kick in. Sometimes I think it could just be the taste that calms my 2month old to be honest. I do this a long with clockwise belly rubs 15xfollowed by rubbing down ward 15x then 5x bring legs up like a squat on babys back. Repeat. Hope this review and techniques helps

I have had three children and used Mylicon with every one. I have never had a negative reaction from it, and every time I used it I saw results. Sometimes their gas would be bad and it would take a few doses before I would see results, but no other medication ever helped as much as Mylicon

6 week old grandson was going through "cluster feedings" and hungry all the time. No throw up, lots of burps and exploding gas bowel movements. Mylicon helped very much. Question: he seems more sleepy now, is this a side effect?

Our 1-month old Angel was suffering from baaad gas and bloated tummy - she would even throw up in the process of trying to burp. Mylicon has made it much easier and less painful for her to expel gas both top and bottom! I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

This medication has been a great relief for our 3 month old granddaughter. She's diagnosed with acid-reflux and only gets rest seemingly with these drops.

I am a first time grandmother. I used mylicon oral for my children when they were babies and I recommended it to my daughter. We give it to our baby 15 minutes before feeding and occasionally when needed after feeding. We notice the difference within minutes of administering the medication. We couldn't have a peaceful night sleep without it!
