Just had my first treatment today for lesions in my bladder wall. It wasn't that bad the nurse used lidocaine while inserting. Hopefully it works because even my kids can't be in the same room with me since i got home...

I had my first of 7 treatments today. I am experiencing a strong taste of garlic and have been told I smell like garlic. I was told 7 treatments no more than 14 days apart and no less that 10 days apart is what I will need. The first treatment was inserted for 30 minutes. I was told the goal is to get to holding it in for 1 hour. I took Utira-C 3x a day for 2 months it permanently stained all my tiolets and underwear green,( I improved maybe 10%) then I was placed on Elmiron for 2 more months 3 times a day it causes bad headaches and I have improvemnt of about (40%) yet still in pain, I was told this is the last resort NO OTHER HOPE FOR HELP and I need to continue to take the Elmiron 3 times a day in addition ot getting this treatment every 2 weeks for 6 more treatments. I really STINK......it is embarrasing. I hope I see some improvement, because I will have no social life for the next 3 months.Read More Read Less

I have had severe pain. When I receive this treatment I am in more pain than you could imagine. My doctor has me doing the treament in my supra pubic catheter for 6 weeks but I only had 2 treatments and am in severe pain when they put this in my bladder that I cannot stand it.

I have had 2 treatments. One treatment a week. It has been put into my supra pubic catheder for 1 hour at a time. It causes severe pain when i am receivein this treatment where i cannot stand it. I have to have 4 more treatments and I don't know if its helping. The pain is very severe.
