Hello, I have been using Synthroid for over ten years and find it the best to use. I have never had my dose increased as I follow the SPECIFIC directions for use. Take it at the same time every day (for me, 5 A.M.!)and on an empty stomach--for one hour. I have found, my morning coffee is fine with no cream, or half and half ; a food. I tried the generic form and it did not have the same affect...

I have taken this med for years. Just recently (last 2 monthes) I have been experiencing heart palps, headaches, muscle fatigue, weight gain, swollen ankles, etc. I am seeing a lot of the same comments. Did they change the formula? I thought it was maybe a combination of my meds. Yesterday I took no meds and felt fine. This morning, only my synthroid. And the heart palps started about 2 hours after taking the pill and have continued all day.

I have to use the restroom constantly. In regards to weight loss, my spouse said I look a little smaller, I know certain clothes fit loser. I am taking this medication for my thyroid hormone levels, to increase energy, but unfortunately since i have to relieve myself like every two hours; I can't tell if I have more energy or not.

I have been on this drug for 0ver 3 years. While it did show stabilization, I have found no change in physical traits. I still suffer hair loss, dry skin, and cloudy memory. I guess I am just doomed to feel this way.

I started taking Synthroid in December 2010 fir an underactive Thyroid. I take my one a day pill as soon as I get up. As of today April 11th I have lost 25 lbs, my energy level is back and I am no longer tired. I have noticed some hair loss nothing extreme or even noticable.
