I suffer from an undiagnosed abdominal pain issue and was injected with this drug in an E.R. For 24 hours I was jittery, anxious and almost to the point of paranoia. Don't use this drug under any circumstances!

I get this medicine for severe headaches. I works pretty good but it over time leaves me sick and groggy feeling and I thought that it wasn't supposed to do that. Then again some people are more sensitive to certain drugs than others are. The main thing is that it gets rid of my headaches because without it I would be completely unable to deal with these headaches and get back to my normal life.

Toradol Inj - I received zero(no) relief. I was admitted to the hospital for inflammed kidney due to a block from a Kidney stone (which, I will need to pass later). The pain is very severe. After using Dilaudid Inj every 2-3 hours with the only relief coming in the first 15-25 minutes after the injection they tried me on Toradol Inj, which I received zero(no) relieve despite the hospitals insistence that it would help. How can I cut the pain down just a little??? -PainfullyFrustrated

I use this to treat migrains. It was the only thing that would stop the pain. Knowing that I can give myself a shot and the pain is gone in about 15 min. is great.

I received this medication several years ago for migraine headaches at my doctors office. However, it is always given with phenergan for the nausea. I had a severe migraine over the weekend and went to ER asked for this and they acted a little odd but gave me the injection and I went home went to bed and woke up with a slight hollow feeling a little linger of headache but soon felt better! This definately works for me as I was in so much pain I could only hold my head and cry with I am sure made the pain worse. Read More Read Less

Was given Toradol for post Coloectomy and illostomy surgery. Was given for 5 day on 6hr intervals. I did not experience the narcotic effects of morphine, and provided steady predictable results while used. The Morphine I was given upon request at any time, only seemed to cause nightmares, and lower pain thresholds, and withdraws. Toradol over the 5 day period was consistant and effective. I was glad it was perscribed by my surgeon and given regularly on schedule.

I have Lupus (SLE) and have chronic pain, most of the time that is pretty severe. Toradol has always helped for the more mild pain and as a good sub for narcotics. I don't like having to give myself the shots, but it's worth it compared to having to go to the hospital or doctors office.

i was given this shot after about 12+ hours of pain due to kidney stones. it took a little while to start working but it did ease everything off so i could sleep. i noticed alot of people said it stung really bad. but i dont think so it stung for like a second but on a pain scale it was "0". the only problem i have encountered is it made me drowsy even into the next day. but i do not take medicines unless i have to. i have fibromyalgia also and dont take anything but occasional 800mg ibuprofene. but all in all it worked the way it was suppose to.Read More Read Less

I am being treated for lower back pain. After a fall, I was given an injection of toradol, and it was by far more helpful than the handful of narcotics I usually take. The only drawback, the short length of time it can be taken. For me, and my situation, it was a miracle drug.
