I have an itchy rash which developed while taking this drug, on my face, neck, chest and back. Is this one of the possible side effects of this drug? is this a sulfa based drug?

I've been taking this for 1 month and notice a marked improvement in my skin. All of my symptoms from the infection are greatly reduced. I have no apetite, which I thought was pretty cool until I just read that it could be a symptom of liver disease - yikes!

I have been taking it for 6 weeks and toes look some better . I have a horrible slimy taste in mouth.Does anyone know how long this last?

Rash (hundreds of small, red spots) on back of hands and front and back of forearms after just one week. Have stopped taking it, will call doc's office for further advice.

I have been taking terbinafine for about two weeks now and have been experiencing minor stomach pain, I am noticing a difference in my nail so I hope everything goes away by the time I finish my treatment. Above all I have been ok.

My husband has had a toenail infection that he passed on to me. He started the treatment and his nails look incredible. I have never seen him so excited to show his feet! I then decided to start treatment as well. I couldnt figure out why I am so tired and have diharrea every day. I have missed work a couple of days just to stay home to rest. I love what it can do, just not how it makes me feel!

Had very bad side affects. Hives on 95% of my body,chests pain,loss of appetite,skin burned and very painful. Looked like I had a very bad sunburn.Could not lie down to sleep,felt like I was choking when I layed flat.Slept a total of 13 hrs.in 4 days.Dizzines and headaches and upset stomach.

has stopped my nails and toes burning but one badly infected nail is still not looking too good. has caused impotence but don't know why!!

Loss of taste/constant metallic taste. Hopefully worth it.

severe rash

Sixweeks into drug, am experiencing some increased hip joint and leg muscle soreness. No alteration in taste yet. No stomach cramps beyond my normal. May tell a little difference in nails, not much. Still hopeful.

stomach cramps started after finishing the medicine.

Unexpected loss of taste

Was anyone else told to avoid caffeine? My doctor didn't say to avoid it but my nail tech did.

I was just prescribed Lamisil from my doctor and was forwarned of the high cost. Imagine my suprise when I went to walmart and discovered this new generic was on their $4.00 list. Entire three month treatment cost $12.00. I am very pleased. Thank Walmart and Terbinafine manufactuer.

This is the best medication for fungal infections ever! Now I can wear my toes out for the summer.

I developed a metal taste in my mouth after a few weeks taking this drug. All drinks and food taste weird. At least I may loose some weight as a side effect.
