It seems to work because I haven't had problems with my stents for 13 years); however I am not sure what is causing my muscular ache and loss. I am also on Crestor which might be affecting muscle function - as I believe Lipitor did. (Both of these latter drugs are statins for treating cholesterol)

I am 58 years old my neurological doctor did not give me any of this information. I searched it for myself. I get large lumps coming up on my skin. Which you pick at. It's unavoidable. If my doctor had of advised me of the problem taking it my mind would be made NOT to take it

I near about 67 and have been using it with a combination of aspirin 75 mg for the last 15 months.. i observed bleeding gums, very rare itching sometimes. general and muscle weakness is observed. it looks like i am losing weight but when weighing it is often normal. bleeding gums is my very old issue due to some dental problems, so I don't care about it. exclusive gases and sometimes gastric pain is also observed.

Severe allergic reaction to the medication. Huge welts all over my body, face swelled up, huge welts on my head and back, sores in my mouth, couldn’t open my mouth. Entire body itched and was red. No appetite and I lost 6 pounds. Bad gas and bloating. I was in the hospital for 5 days and still had allergic reaction for 3 more days afterwards. Had trouble breathing, it messed with my asthma.

Have been using it for 4+ years now and have had no side effects from this drug, only thing I need to be careful of is minor cuts, scrapes, etc as I tend to bleed quite a lot from this. Also, bruises can be very noticeable and stay visible for quite some time, but eventually, go away.

Have been put on clopidogrel in advance of having angioplasty with possible stent. Accidently scratched my leg and thought I would never get it to stop bleeding. I've also started noticing bruising on arms & legs. It may help keep the stent open if I end up having one, but oh, I do despise this medicine!!

The doctor put me on this to prevent a possible issue with my carotid arteries. I took it for two weeks and then developed an uncontrollable itch in the palm of my hands and then a rash and itching all over. I stopped taking it. After an MRA it turned out that I am fine, but I still itch after three weeks.

Haven’t had any issues, only that I can bruise easily and cuts tend to bleed out much longer. I’m 42 and had a stroke two years ago and will most likely be taking this drug permanently, I also take atorvastain which was prescribed and must be taken daily also.

My cardiologist prescribed this after placing 2 stents 8 years ago. I have had another stent placed about 2 weeks ago. When the doctor was in looking at my heart, she said the 2 earlier stents looked very good and clear. I remember taking the medication for at least 6 months.

I'm not sure that my rash breakouts are being caused by the drug but they started simultaneously. I keep breaking out with small pimples that itch. They occur randomly, mostly back, stomach, and legs

I bruise very easily since I have been on this. Which I think is common for most blood thinners. I began reading these reviews because I was experiencing a tingling or cramping sensation in my jaw and throughout my stomach. It happens intermittently and isn’t terribly uncomfortable just worrisome, so I wanted to see if anyone else reported the same thing. I see a lot of muscle weakness and some tingling in other reviews, so I am thinking that the sensation I am feeling certainly could be from the medication. I am also taking an aspirin. I started taking Clopidogrel in 2013 after I suffered my first stroke. It has been working well other than minor bruising. I had more stroke symptoms in 2015, but it was not as bad as 2013. It has been working well for me, I do not have any complaints.
