If it weren't for this amazing drug and neb I'm sure I'd be in the hospital. I get yearly pnemonia & bronchitus(sp)...yes both and each time I "get" to spend time in the ER, plus I have severe Asthma. I've been blessed with a Neb and the medication and it has truly been a Godsend! I just got over both the above issues without any visit to the ER, all due to the Neb & med!! AMAZING!! I've had my Da...

i HATE this rescue inhaler! My local Walmart pharmacy forced me to switch from my awesome blue inhaler to this one. With Cipla's inhaler, the counter is not precise and I cannot feel the medicine as I use it. The mouthpiece has a built-in spacer, which I also HATE. I can't feel the medicine when I take it and if it works, it doesn't work nearly as well as the blue inhaler. Cipla should be forced to take this piece of garbage off the market and give people like me their blue inhalers back, My asthma is WORSE,Read More Read Less

It seems as though we are taking a step backward in treating asthma with some of these inhalers that I feel are inferior as to the ease of use and what they once were. My doctor gave me a prescription for Cipla (Manufacturer) Albuterol Sulfate 90mcg. I recently had un URI that went into bronchitis and sparked my asthma. I attempted to use this but it was terrible. After priming the thing about 4 or 5 times it easily sprayed into the sink. But when I used it directly, it was hard to push without two hands and I couldn't feel it coming into my mouth or lungs. I've had plenty of inhalers that were far easier and superior in using. When you NEED the inhaler you hope that it works and delivers the product. I had to get on a nebulizer with Albuterol to deliver the medicine. That is rare for me.Read More Read Less

My insurance will not pay for generic ventolin. My insurance will pay for Tevas. Now here is a little fact. My insurance cost me 12.50 per inhaler for the Teva junk. I have go on Amazon pharmacy and buy the generic ventolin for 20 not using insurance. It is 50-70 at your local pharmacies. So, I no longer get the Teva albuterol. If you do this make sure you don't give Amazon your insurance so they bill you the non-insurance rate.

As a side-effect of another condition, I developed adult-onset asthma in 2015. It's been a roller coaster, but I'm pretty well managed on medications now. I keep an Albuterol Sulfate rescue inhaler around just in case. Have been using Teva HFA until recently, when insurance switched me to the generic Cipla version. Jury is still out on the switchover.
I must say that for a long time I felt as though my asthma was unmanaged and often the prescribed Rx's I was taking wouldn't touch it. I got used to (and exhausted from) riding out multiple attacks per day. Around 2018 or 2019, I made a concerted effort to rid my diet of inflammatory foods and most carbs. I did a round of oral prednisone to clear myself up, then ditched fast food, soda, snacks out of a bag or box, Omega 6 oils, etc. My diet change was more effective in reducing asthma attacks than the Rx's I was using. Since my diet change, I have only had to use my rescue inhaler a handful of times in 3 years, and I no longer panic when I forget to bring it with me. If you still suffer from acute asthma attacks and haven't considered your diet, I encourage you to research the benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet. A bonus for me was that I lost 50 pounds in addition to getting my asthma under control. I'm still on low dose asthma meds but have been able to stop some of them since my diet change and weight loss. Good luck to you! Read More Read Less

Have been using Albuterol inhalers for over a decade. Two recent inhalers have failed to deliver correctly; one Sandoz and one PAR pharmaceuticals. several Sandoz OK. you either have to push EXTREMEMLY hard to get your dosage, or it delivers propellant but no albuteral. will work with pharmacy

As a person with Asthma over the last 40 years and managing it quite well. I have to caution the manufacturer and those who are considering this product,Teva Albuterol Sulphate Drug of the harshness of this medication hitting my lungs. It would cause bronchospasms and complicated my recovery. I was like, what is going on with this medication? I was able to get switched over to nebulizer inhalation therapy to a much better treatment experience.

have emphysema, not asthma. . . heavily rely on a rescue inhaler for serious breathing problems. Sandoz Albuterol Inhaler simply offers NO RELIEF--only a rapid, pounding heart rate and gasping for breath,

I don’t have any prior use/experience with inhalers, but recently I started getting acute asthma symptoms so to prevent my doctor recommend this product. Personally first use I didn’t like it, but after the second use and my lungs feeling worst recently this has helped me a lot I feel an instant release from that weight on my chest when feeling an asthma attack and only side effect I get is very shaky after using my inhaler.

As a Registered Nurse - I have to say that I am shocked st the total ineffectiveness of Teva’s new generic Albuterol Sulfate. I inhaled 2 puffs, with absolutely no change in lung values - and no relief of moderate symptoms at all - which has never happened to me before with Ventolin. After waiting the required time, I inhaled one puff of the brand name Ventolin (GoodRx type of sights - there are a number of them now) - and received immediate relief of symptoms - and improvement in all lung values. There is a lot of junk on the market out there lately - so check feedback on pharmacy suggested generics, before you waste your money. If you spend some time, you can find a coupon on the internet for Ventolin - at not too much more than this Teva junk. At the time, the pharmacy only had the Teva inhaler in stock - so I purchased it. After my experience with it, I looked for feedback on Ventolin generics - and found a lot of similar complaints out there. Some generics are not the same as brand name drugs - Too bad Americans have been sucked in to the generic market - instead of brand name drugs being reasonably priced upon initial release in to the market - for all wallet carrying Americans. Price gouging is hurting millions of Americans. Read More Read Less

Was recently hospitalized for heart failure and also diagnosed with severe lung damage from smoking. Had difficulty breathing and frequent shortness of breath, with morning cough and wheezing episodes. Upon release was prescribed Albuterol Inhaler. Respiratory improvement was felt immediately and is ongoing.

does not work for me at all!! Useless. No relief at all, still trouble breathing. I would rather have nothing at all! I find it hard to believe that it gives anyone with COPD any kind of relief.

My insurance will only pay for this new generic version of Albuterol Sulfate HFA 90 MCG Inhaler, made by PERRIgo. I have always used VentolinHFA or a copy version of the Ventolin. This generic version is awful. Weak spray, safety cap difficult to remove and unattached to the unit. The spray is very weak and is ineffective.
