It cleared up an itchy rash that I had on the palm of my hand for like a year that would not go away no matter what I tried to put on it.

I used a local brand 15mg per day a few years ago to cure my adult acne and for my male pattern hairloss. I think it helped well for acne. It was very satisfactory for the acne but I wasn't going to be able to continue. Those days I experience a very bad diarreah and kept on using this around 4 months without knowing it might have been the cause. I was usually going to toilet 7 times a day. Once I went to a hospital and they asked for stool and all other tests. They found no bacteria whatsoever causing my diarreah. A few days after I had to go to emergency as I got weird cramps around my bowel and pelvic area. Again, they did not understand what it was caused by. Later I thought this might be the reason and searched for other forms online and learned that zinc picolinate is one of the best forms that body can digest easily. I remembered my adolescence when I was using GNC's zinc and searched for it and learned that it was picolinate. Those days I have never actually experienced a single acne or dandruff. Lately I got a tablet form and realized an upset stomach and found it is Zinc Sulphate again. Earlier I wasn't so sure if it was due to Zinc Sulphate or it was a bad local brand but now I am very skeptical it's due to the form. Thus, perhaps Zinc really works but you gotta find a better form than Zinc Sulfate if it's affecting your stomach or bowel movements. Lastly, never overdose the Zinc to improve your problems faster. Give it time and never exceed the regular dose. I think it's very dangerous for kidneys when you overdose it.Read More Read Less
