When I take Ester-C oral 500 MG. once a day, I do less sneezing and sniffeling. I visit my mother at a retirement home. When I do without Ester-C- oral, the nurses there get nervous, and worry about the residents there. When I take Ester-C oral, The nurses are satisfied that all is well with me, and the residents are safe.

I was taking one ester- C 1000 mg pill per day and getting horrific painful colon cramps. The pain was so bad I felt like passing out and also nauseous!

The 1000mg tabs are much too large. I think they could be a chocking hazard. Otherwise I think it provides a good source of vitamin c.

I have went through chemo for cancer and I took this with my doctors approval and it helped to keep my white blood cell count up. I'm not saying that everyone taking this will have this effect because you have to eat properly also. Make sure you get your doctors approval because all medicines react different, especially with chemo drugs.

For me, it is an antihistimine. If I have sinus drainage down my throat or a runny nose, swollen nostrels, Ester C slows it down or stops it. If you need to test for allergies, you must stop using prior to being tested. A lot of medical people don't know this. It blew me away that many don't.

I take 500mg-1000mg of Ester C every day for tennis elbow. Side effects include less severe colds. The gummies are easy to take but the tablet form is hard to swallow

Due to my constant hyper-acidity, I take Ester C instead of Ascorbic Acid because it is non acidic.
