Used MDLive through insurance and for conveinance I get sinusitis when weather changes. Have taken this med before without issue but this time, Took 1 pill, 2 hrs later, in bathroom vomiting and diarrhea, stopped taking and seeing doctor today.

Prescribed for sore throat and congestion. After 2nd dose severe vertigo, diarrhea and vomiting. Stopped the medication and after a week just starting to eat and feel better. Would never take this again.

Had high fever sore throat and sinus problems , did not work at all. Took 2 pills per day during 5 days.

Have been on this a few times to control a unruly infected periapical cyst from a terrible dentist who did a Root canal by endo didn’t eliminate fully referred to surgeon for root end surgery/ removal of cyst. I felt initially this was not helping this time around but on my last day today and the swelling is starting to go down finally. I was on steroid as well for 6 days so I had energy from steroid the 1st few days but the Augmentin knocks me out. I have zero appetite. I force myself to eat and of course take the antibiotic with food. I have not had stomach issues from it but I have had a lot of stomach bloating and just want to sleep non stop the past few days. I feel extremely weak while taking it and just depleted overall. If you have to function at work etc it is not going to be fun. Prescribed for sinus and ear infection and mild UTI, caught early. I don’t take abx often at all but when I do I develop yeast infections. I ALWAYS ask the pharmacist for a bottle of Florajen to take with it. Antibiotics destroy your good gut bacteria thus the GI symptoms ensue. Florajen helps the gut and flora in your mouth and mucous membranes. I have never developed a yeast infection and never developed severe diarrhea or other GI symptoms. Was prescribed this at the ER 3 days ago for a flare-up and I feel like I have the flu along with a flare-up now. Woke up with a sore throat and came here to see reviews. I think I'll call the doctor today.

Works fast to get relief. Finish taking every pill.

Mastoiditis is a serious infection that affects the mastoid bone behind the ear which caused me to have a gran-mal seizer which I had never had before and I am 49 years old. Was given this medication for a 14 day period which I just finished today so not sure yet how well it worked but had bad case of diarrhea and nausea. I am wondering why I had the seizer, is this a diagnosis that would cause that? I am just very scared for it to happen again.

Was prescribed this for an infection in my gum after some oral surgery. I have never had issues with other antibiotics or regular amoxicillin but this is simply the worst. I am tired and have diarrhea that is comparable to when you're prepping for a colonoscopy. I've been eating lots of bread and rice to try to keep my poop bound but nothing seems to help. I cannot wait to finish this course of antibiotics. I'll never take this again. It's like every ounce of bacteria, both good and bad, are being wiped out of my body. I was taking this medicine for a sinus infection. The side effects are giving me flu like symptoms. I feel feverish and nauseous. The worst part is that I’ve had a pounding headache for the entire day today. I’m discontinuing after 3 days.

Needed this medicine for a sinus infection, I read the side effects. It was prepared, but I wasn’t prepared. Every time I took my medication, maybe two hours later I had to go to the bathroom I had severe diarrhea. with that I got a rash, so I stopped taking the medication after four days.

I was on a ten day regime with this medication for an infected tooth. Two days after finishing my stomach started making gurgling noises, severe nausea set in and I had fever like symptoms. It has been a week and I still have these symptoms.

Prescription for an oral infection and a minor foot injury, which got infected. Cramps started the morning after the first dose. Severe diarrhea the afternoon of day 3. Symptoms felt like food poisoning. Taking with both Prebiotic & Prebiotic. Never had this reaction with Amoxicillin alone. After experiencing these side-effects and reading other reviews, I'm discontinuing talking the remainder of this Rx.

I’m a 25 female, not medical conditions. I take antibiotics with ease. I never get on these websites writing reviews ) always the one just reading them. But I HAD TO for this drug. The worst experience by far for me. Struggling with sinusitis, got prescribed these. The first two days just mild low cramps. I thought this would be a peace of cake. Horrid. I was prescribed this medication for bronchitis that turned into a sinus infection that just wouldn’t quit. It cleared up the infection eventually, but I didn’t feel like a real person the whole 10 days I was taking it. It made me so tired, nauseous, dizzy, couldn’t think clearly, felt like my brain was underwater. For me the diarrhea didn’t start until several days after I had stopped taking it, and only continued to get worse until I tried Culturelle meant for antibiotics. Meanwhile, it also caused a yeast infection that has not responded to two rounds of flucozanole. So, 6 weeks after finishing this mediation my digestive system is *nearly* back to normal and I’m still dealing with a yeast infection. Would not recommend. Read More Read Less

Guys Don’t ever use this stupid tablet. It’s the worst tablet ever seen I just took one tablet in the night then I was not feeling good then in the morning I had the vomit and stomach pain. ??

Acute sinus infection. I took it after breakfast, same time for the duration of treatment. Experienced no stomach discomfort. I did take a probiotic at night. Did the job

Was prescribed for respiratory infection.(not bacterial UTI) I couldn’t understand why I was sleeping all day. By day 3, stomach ache/nausea:gurgling. Then came the diarrhea. I stopped this medication.

All it took was one. About one hour after taking the first pill I felt dizziness and light headed. About two hours later I felt sleepy. I knew that was the last one that I will take. My Dr. wanted me to take this medication for twenty one days! No way. In the garbage they went. Had an experience in the bathroom that night too.

I was prescribed this for a dog bite. It seemed to help ward off infection, but I have had severe diarrhea. Running to the bathroom frequently. It has been 3 months now and the diarrhea keeps coming back. My doctor recommended a certain probiotic, but it is t helping. Back to the doctor on Friday. I wish I had been told about the side effects.
