I have secondary myleofibrosis and after several years of using Jakafi I became very anemic and white cells were rising. This drug had just been approved by FDA so we started it in mid-April. By the end of April my counts were looking good but I began to have extremely bad migraines 2-3 times a week. By mid May everything but platelets were improving but was having daily migraines and liver pain. Platelets were rising fast and by early June platelets were over the million mark and headaches were unbearable. We stopped the medication.
