About 24 hours after taking the second dose of BioNTech, I found both of my feet started to swell from below the toes to the area surrounding the ankles. They felt a little pain when being pressed and a little tight when I moved the ankles around. I have consulted private and public hospital doctors (in Hong Kong) who didn't attribute my case to the vaccine. I used to be very healthy and am...

I had my Pfizer covid vaccine and felt fine that day. A slightly sore arm and took a two hr nap a couple of hrs after the jab then slept for 11 hrs that night which is VERY unusual for me. The following day my legs felt heavy. As though they were made of concrete. I would liken it to having a child stand on your feet to dance. Since then my feet and legs below my knee have swollen, been itchy very sore to touch and generally felt heavy. If I press a finger into the swelling it makes a dent that takes a couple of minutes to recover. I can't wear shoes. Only flip flops and they leave marks. My abdomen has also swollen just in one part and it is red and itchy and tender to touch. I have an appointment to see my G.P in a few days. Read More Read Less

Just to ashore the people out there with swollen feet and not being able to walk, if you keep on with daily activities it will get better as that is what I did, It has only taken me 6 days to get better and my foot is fully working. I ordered a foot brace and crutches but now I don't need them as I thought I would be like the hundreds of people I keep reading about. When I was resting at night I would put my foot up high on 2 pillows and wriggle my toes to try get movement still. I got tablets from hospital but too 3 and then stop and just starting drinking which is not the best idea but it took my mind off it. I will definitely be getting my second jab as now I look at it and I think it's best we get vaccinated as Covid is deadly. Stay positive people and you will get better. Read More Read Less

Just another update. My foot has finally stopped hurting and is fully working after 6 days. I went out and got so drunk to ignore the pain and I woke up to no pain and swelling has gone. Happy days.

Commencing at 30hours after first shot very minor side effects. Slightly muffled hearing, runny nose, got hot, fuzzy head. All symptoms gone after 2.5 hours. Beneficial side effects, reduction in peripheral neuropathy of feet and improvement in balance issues.

Female, 53, obese. I received my 1st Pfizer dose on May 22nd. Sore arm at injection site that lasted several days and some mild muscle spasm, but otherwise okay. Noticed swollen feet sometime after. Not sure how long after. Didn't make connection to shot. Got 2nd shot on June 12. Side-effects included extreme fatigue, mild nausea and headache. I was fine the next day. Feet swelling reoccurred and persists to this day. Thankfully, no pain as described by others. I had plantar fascitis pain, but this occurred in February, long before 1st covid shot. My foot swelling has gotten so bad that I could not wear my sneakers. I spent the day in my bedroom slippers. Hoping the swelling is only temporary and that it will subside soon. Other symptoms I've noticed are also some shortness of breath and mild increase to heart rate. And swelling in my left forearm. Read More Read Less

im glad im not alone here with these symptoms. i am a 20 year old female, i got the second vaccine 2 days ago and a couple hours after the vaccine, my ankle swelled and inch, and slowly above my ankle there is a 2 inch long swell. its the worst pain i think i felt with this vaccine. When i woke up the next day i puked, i could barley stand, eat or sleep. hot flashes and chills, and light headedness. but what i am most concern of is the part above my ankle.. and a few hours after the vaccine i got a bruise under my knee.. ill be speaking with a doctor shortly though. :) Read More Read Less

About 2 weeks after my second shot, I have got joints pain allover my body. All the joints are swollen and hurting. I was spending each day with difficulties. I went to see a specialist doctor and went through urine, blood, CT tests. The results are not related to auto-immune diseases- a kind of confirmation on the side effects of post vaccination. It has been almost 2 months until now that I cannot have my normal life. No one knew when the symptoms will be gone.

Got my first vaccine today shoulder slightly painful and hurts to stretch it which I was told about. 3 hours later I had a rash on my chest, not sure if it is to do with the vaccine or a heat rash. An hour ago (7pm) i noticed both my ankles are swollen my right one more than the left and there is also a rash on my left foot too, I'm not sure if it is the same as above. I am going to keep an eye on them.

Swollen foot 2 weeks after 2nd injection, still persisting after 3 months. Went to Orthopaedic surgeon who removed a ganglion cyst from top of foot 8/2018, because I was told it was possible it would come back. After exam, xrays and scan NO EVIDENCE of cyst was found. Use gym 3 times a week in excellent physical condition. Swelling in foot is unexplained and since it appeared 17 days after 2nd shot with NO symptoms of this since the cyst was removed in 2018, the vaccine seems the likely culprit. Occam's razor. 2 days after my second dose my feet and ankles started to swell up. Today (1 week after) I am completely swollen from my knees to the tips of my toes. I am so uncomfortable. Luckily I am up and down with my job so I get adequate movement but wow my skin feels so tight and it's just getting worse. I don't know what I can do. Elevating isn't working and drinking water constantly isn't either.

First shot was fine, felt only slight lightheadiness. However, 2 weeks after second shot I have numbness in my extremities, it is extremely painful to move. The pain moves throughout the body, so it eases in one place and moves to the other. Still waiting for the pain to stop. It has been a week so far.

This is my second time posting the same, just for correcting something. Also adding that I took the 2nd jab on Jul 9th. About 48 hours after taking the second dose of BioNTech, I found both of my feet started to swell from beneath the toes to the area surrounding the ankles. They felt a little pain when being pressed and a little tight when I moved the ankles around. I have consulted private and public hospital doctors (in Hong Kong) who didn't attribute my case to the vaccine related. I used to be very healthy and am not convinced I have other hidden issues but I am awaiting the diagnosis anyway. Otherwise arm pain was the only side effect I got after both jabs.Read More Read Less

60 years old female. Following the second shot my hands and my feet hurt. It’s been two months now and my hands are almost unusable. I get random shooting pains that go from wrist into palm of hands that last for maybe a min. In the mornings it takes my feet a few min of walking to “loosen” up. Pain in hands and feet were not anything I had prior. I hope by leaving this comment Pfizer reads them. My intent is not to say no to vaccine… it’s just to be forewarned you might experience something other than flue like symptoms. Read More Read Less
