About 24 hours after taking the second dose of BioNTech, I found both of my feet started to swell from below the toes to the area surrounding the ankles. They felt a little pain when being pressed and a little tight when I moved the ankles around. I have consulted private and public hospital doctors (in Hong Kong) who didn't attribute my case to the vaccine. I used to be very healthy and am...

1st &2nd doses in March were fine, a little pain at injection site but not anything else. Booster today, 45 min later I was in a ambulance. My right leg swole and started dark bruising on upper thigh, next thing I knew I had fainted (not something I do) and paramedics were on site. They gave me 3 medications for allergic reaction and transported me to hosp. Blood work all came back normal and I was discharged 3 hours later perfectly fine with no answer. Still have very deep bruising and pain in leg at that site, but otherwise ok. Shot was given in upper left arm. I am 43, no underlying conditions and reasonably healthy. I'd still choose this over getting covid.Read More Read Less

Blood Type 0-: 1st pfizer Covid shot in March 2021, three days later left ankle blew up painful to walk on, Iced for three days eventually went away. 2nd pfizer Covid 19 shot in May 2021, left ankle blew up painful to walk on, iced and three days later went away. Nov 24th pfizer booster shot, so far my left calf muscle is super warm no ankle swelling yet, but we shall see. All all vitals perfect, no headaches, etc. Even stopped my runny nose I've had the last several weeks. I guess we all react a bit differently. Read More Read Less

I had no problems after either of the first 2 Moderna vaccinations. With the booster I am experiencing a lot of pain in my left foot, heal and left side of my foot, as well my left arm is much more soar than with of the other 2 shots. I took 2 Ibuprofen and I’m doing a warm foot soak with Epsom salts. I’m not even sure if this is related to the booster, but it appeared about an hour after the shot, so probably it is. It’s important to note that I didn’t drink as much water as I usually do, so that played a roll. As a phlebotomist I know veins will narrow dramatically without hydration. Read More Read Less

Now with the booster I decided drink lots of water and take painkillers before the vaccine. Joint pain and very painful toes again only had the jab 3 days ago but feel very tired.

Covid Booster, experienced fatigue for 48 hours, extreme chills for 4 hours, slight headache on/off 12 hours, lower GI distress 1st 24 hrs & continuing slightly 2+ days, a lot of sharp tingling sensation in feet starting 36 hrs after and continuing 3 days out & actually increasing, muscles achy 1st 12 hrs out for 12 hours. All worth it!! Thank you healthcare providers & vaccine mfg's, we love you!!

I received my first dose and was sick in the bed within 24 hours. I had fever, chills and extremely exhausted, this lasted 24 hours. I received my second dose today, joint pain in my left toe. Toe is sore and hard to move. I was told since I had COVID Feb this year, I had antibodies and then the first vaccine added to the antibodies, this was the reason I got sick. I was told to expect sickness again with this second shot.

Day #1: was seeing double and it felt like -inanimate objects were brbreathing. Extremely tired. Day #2: super cold in the middle of summer under a 10 pound blanket and sweatshirt - Extremely tired Day #3: fever spiked very high and finally broke - exhausted Day #4-9: normal Day #10: woke up everything normal - an hour later legs and feet Extremely cold and painful and edema- bilateral swelling - my feet were gigantic I cried my eyes out I just ordered stilettos the day before. I babied my feet stayed off as much as possible and had a pity party Day #11: decided to force myself through everything - push myself and not take it easy. Sitting at work only when I could not stand any longer My feet went down in size Day 12 & 13: repeat od day 11 Day 14: feet normal and all good If you think that you may have an infection throughout your body of either yeast or fungal - get tested and get it taken care of before getting this. I think that is what may have happened to me. I think i had a fungal or yeast infection throughout my body so when I got the vaccine my body started to go into overdrive and attack every thing that was making it sicker. You can have a fungal infection or yeast infection throughout your body and not be aware of it - numerous people have it. Which is what makes me believe there's so many different reactions to this vaccine. Your lymph nodes act as a filter and are working in overdrive as there are so much toxins now to filter- and thus the excess of fluid in feet and sometimes hands. If the swelling is ONE side - that's a sign of a blood clot - if it's both and they rule out a blood clot ask for a test for fungal or yeast infection to see if thats the underlying heath issue that you aren't aware of. I just waited it out and pushed myself - I looked at it physical therapy - you're not going to get better if you don't force yourself and work through the pain. I may be entirely wrong on this - as I am not a doctor and I didn't have the issues that others have had here lasting for months. I don't know what they did or if they tried to work through it - my first instinct was to not stand and to sit and never wanting to move - but my parents always had me and my siblings push ourselves when we were sick - it was a way to speed up recovery. I plan on getting my 2nd shot- and I know that I will end up having a second reaction to it and am prepared for my body to go in overdrive. Before I get it next week I will be going to the doctor and having them test for infection and if it comes up that I have an infection I didn't know about then that can be fixed or start the process of being fixed . Will update after next week Read More Read Less

I got my first shot August 4th. i did not have any side effects at first, simply a bit of a sore arm as i have had with all my flu shots. I get one every year. i am 47 years old and I am in good health. But a few days ago my right leg started swelling. I am not in any pain. My blood pressure is normal. When I noticed the swelling I eliminated salt and soda from my diet and still I have swelling in my leg to the point now it is uncomfortable. The only thing that is different in my life if this vaccine and I am reading that alot of people are getting extremities that swell. i think I am one of them. I am not an anti vaccine person as I get all my boosters and volintariy took this one. I work from home and am self employed so I was not forced to take this vaccine. I am just unsure what to do about this perceived side-effect. I will call my doctor but i am posting to let others know what I am experienceing 10 days after my shot. I will get my second shot and report back. Good luck folks Get your vax and stay well.Read More Read Less

I got the 2nd shot (Pfizer) on June 2021 and 2 days after I developed pain on both feet, now I wake in the morning with joint pain too. Swelling varies depend if I have to stand for more than 5 or 10 minutes. I was a person that do daily exercise at mornings but since my vaccine I can not do that anymore.

I got my second Pfizer injection one week ago. I have had soreness and tenderness in my left foot since the day after the vaccine. It's also swollen where the tenderness is and I'm limping and finding it hard to walk on properly. It feels like I imagine it would if someone stamped on my foot with their stiletto. But I know I definitely didn't injure my foot. I wonder if anyone else is having a similar experience!

On my first dose I didn't have any affects at all but on the 2nd one, it really started to kick in around midnight to 1:30 in the morning and I felt my whole left side of my body aching in pain. This all started on my left arm from where I got the shot. And then my left hip bone felt like someone or something was squeezing it as hard as it/they could. I got up out of bed to see if I could walk it out and then I got extreme chills, I was shaky, looked really pale, couldn't stand up very well. The next morning I could not stand up very well and I was very very tired. Read More Read Less
