I started taking this as a method of contraception. At the end of the first week of taking it I noticed my depression had gotten worse and I was having suicidal thoughts with some intent. I was also a lot more emotional and I felt like I had a lack of control over my reactions to how I was feeling. I was already diagnosed with major depressive disorder so I'm assuming that was a contributing factor to the side effects I experienced. I stopped taking Jaimiess after a week as I couldn't handle how it made me feel.Read More Read Less

Currently I am finishing my third month since starting this pack; i transferred to this after trying three other types but they were each the 1 month birth controls so it has been very difficult for my body to adjust. For the last three months I have definitely experienced a lot of backlash such as breakthrough bleeding constantly, acne, abscesses and more. I do have pcos so I know my body will be more work than someone without it; so I want to give this bc the benefit of the doubt. I find it wonderful that I get three months at a time and do not have to worry about the stress of getting a new pack each month. I’m just praying this doesn’t wear my body down; i’m a stressed out broke college student who needs a miracle.Read More Read Less

Not only did my periods decrease in length and heaviness, but I was able to go the whole 3 months with no more than occasional spotting. My only complaints are that it did not lessen my cramping pain very much, and it made me pretty nauseous if I had an early morning the next day (early morning being 6am or earlier after taking the pill at 9:30pm). However, the nausea passes within 45 minutes and it overall works significantly better than any other pill I have tried before. Highly recommend, the benefits I experience make up for the drawbacks.Read More Read Less

psa i use my pills to stop me period since they are incredibly painful. it worked perfectly for the first month and a half with some cramps but no bleeding at all it was great and i was so happy then halfway into the next month pill i started HEAVILY bleeding badly for about two weeks non stop and no sign of it getting better so i had to switch to a different pill. my experiece could be different to yours but you can use mine as a cautionary tale and also stopping your period is perfectly safe.
