I use a pump and forced to increase basil rates 5-10 units through the day; slow reaction during bolus; very small savings over Humalog but w/disappointments not worth the savings.

On an insulin pump, blood sugar 396. Took 5 units with a syringe, 1 hour later (no food) blood sugar was 498. I took large amounts of insulin throughout the day. BS was never below 300. This has gone on for 2 days. Just took Novalog with a syringe and blood sugar is lowering.

If it could b3 rated a 0 i would. I was on my way to gettting my sugars under control. Because of this i am in the 400 range constantly. Insurance wont go back to what was working because this is cheaper. Not sure how this got appoved through the FDA but this insin is not helping at all.

I was forced to switch over to this insulin because of insurance coverage. I have been taking Humalog in a vial. I feel absolutely horrible after trying Admelog for the first time. My sugar level also shot up to 400. Luckily, I still have humalog left that has not expired.
