I participated in the 2nd phase study for consecutive shots in my left knee. After conclusion of the study (May 2018) received Zilretta in both knees and just received another round this month. This is a magic bullet and absolutely relieves all okay pain for just about three months. And it’s allowed me to play tennis multiple times each week and to defer my eventual knee replacement. Fantastic pain relief! I was pain free for the first time in years! But once it wore off, the knee pain was worse than before. And what's the point, if it's only for one use?

Zilretta is a life changer! I saw my doctor last month and I am pain free. Finally, I can exercise without limping around.

ZIlretta is unbelievable ! I have lived with Knee Pain for years and found nothing on the market that lasts. ZIlretta changed that. My doctor loves Zilretta and suggested I try it. 2 months later I feel Fantastic !

I got an injection of Zilretta. Within 12 hours I could not walk. I had emergency surgery. I had a very bad strep infection. I am on my 2nd surgery now and are having PT so I can walk again.

For me Zilretta is kind of like a miracle! I was having severe knee pain and had the injection one month ago. I had positive results within the first 24 hours. No more pain no more swelling little to no stiffness. I would recommend the treatment to all!

I was receiving Synvisc injections every 6 months for a couple of years with great results. Only a day or two of recovery time, minimal pain, massive relief of my symptoms and it slowed down the spread of the arthritis in both of my knees. My insurance stopped covering Synvisc and my doctor pushed for me to use Zilretta. I couldn't walk for over a week after the first injections. The relief was okay for a couple of weeks but then wore off. Have had to get the shots every 3 months, same result each time. Now I'm experiencing even more pain and stiffness in my knees then what I had before the Zilretta. Some days I cannot fully straighten or bend them. Walking up/down stairs is excruciating. I've been getting Zilretta injections since August 2018 and I can honestly say that my arthritis symptoms have gotten much worse as has the pain in my legs. Going to see if there is something else out there because the slight relief for a brief period of time is NOT worth the time spent unable to walk or be in pain. And the worsening of my symptoms is extremely concerning. Would love to know if others are having the same problems with this medication.Read More Read Less

After numerous corticosteroid and hyaluronic injections in rt knee my doc recommended Zirletta. I did get relief for 2 mos but then all of sudden very much more pain in knee (felt like fracture in lower leg before subsiding somewhat). Told now need knee replacement.

Four years in with OA of knee. The knee is more painful as a result of shot. No long lasting pain relief. I couldn't kneel on my knee, the knee cap hurt. I had better luck with just corticosteroid shot. My Dr. was pushing the shot as the end all. Not so much. Not sure I am ever getting another.

I've had medial left knee pain for awhile and tried different avenues of pain management, including hyaluronic acid injections. Zilretta is awesome! It took a good week for it to kick in, but I am now at one month and the pain has subsided immensely. No side effects at all. I'm very active and play a lot of pickleball, so I'm a true test to the effectiveness of this drug.

For two years I have used a can and a wheelchair because of pain in my knees. One shot of Zilretta and I am pain free and a lot more active. It is a miracle drug. It has been two months since the injection and I am really happy.
