Definitely rebuilt delicate tissues in about 45 days or less. Highly recommend, no side effects for me, used in evenings.

I have seen benefits however I am discontinuing use for the same reasons others have mentioned: packaging. The plastic covering the inserts is often impossible to remove. I sometimes use my teeth or a scissors because I can't get it open with my hands--I'm 54 and fit. And the individual plastic applicators are a horrendous environmental problem. I don't use them. I insert it with my hand. Conseque...

Just as others have said, the application is frustrating. I must pay out of pocket for this product, and yet fully half of the ovules break in the process of opening the difficult packets. The applicator is annoying because it is hard to know if one has sterilised it for next use. When the ovules break they often fall on the counter or even the floor, and yet one wants to put only sterile things in the vagina. I will not buy thi9s product again until the packaging is sorted out. Other vaginal insertions come with the already loaded pump all in sterile packaging, and the process is simple. None of this is environmental perfect, but for the user it is an unwarranted unpleasantness.

Used only one 30-day treatment and will not refill for two reasons. One, the high cost; with insurance I paid 299.99 at Walgreens for the 30-day. The second reason is I will not use it again is that it has excessive packaging that will only end up in the landfills. Strange that pharmaceutical companies which claim they care for the environment would go out of their way to include so much waste in their packaging.

After a hysterectomy, sexual intimacy was painful. I am very thankful my primary care physician asked if I wanted a prescription for Intrarosa. It has made a tremendous difference in my life.

I used this product for 4 years. The price goes up every year and insurance does not like cover it. I spent a couple months in the beginning of 2022 going through the appeals process just for insurance to allow me to process the rx. For two months I went without this product waiting for an insurance appeal.
I’m not sure if they change the formulation since the original version I start taking in 2018, but, when I went back on it, in approximately 6 weeks I developed a significant amount of health issues.
I did not realize how much this product contributed to imbalances in my body until I stopped taking it. I had a hunch that this was a culprit, and my doctor actually listen to me. She ordered a lot of labs while I was on the product and systematically each month after I stopped taking the product the product. I can say without it out a doubt and have proof in hand, that this product caused me to develop high blood pressure and extremely high testosterone (395 as a 53 year old female on zero hormones), hair loss, endocrine imbalances (Hashimoto’s goiter and vocal changes), mood swings and anxiety.
I have been off of intrarosa for four months now, and finally my thyroid is starting to stabilize, my testosterone levels are in a normal range for my age, 20-40, my blood pressure is being managed, but only with medication now. I was told by the endocrinologist that this drug triggered an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto’s.
I agree with all the packaging complaints. It was inconsistent from box to box and sometimes it was easy to open and sometimes I would fumble for five minutes or more before I had to grab scissors to open.
I would not take this drug ever again. While it was effective, the benefit did not outweigh the side effects.Read More Read Less

I have used IntraRosa for 3 months and when I started to notice a severe hair loss it took me some time to connect the dotes, but I am pretty sure IntraRosa is the cause. Anyone else?
I talked to my obgyn but she refuses to listen not me.
I have stopped using it for 3 weeks now but my hair are still shredding like crazy. I just hope it will stop :(

No problems with packaging except hate the plastic environmentally. After just 1 week, very low mood with a large teenage spot already. I will have to stop using unfortunately.

I have been using it for 3 months - it has helped with the pain (my husband is very big). I don't have any problem opening the package - you just pull the top apart, so I'm not sure why it is so difficult for others. I haven't noticed side effects but I will be paying more attention. I was able to get it at a reduced cost because of past blood issues and other options are not available to me.

I use off and on. It alleviated my dryness problem which was leading to irritation and yeast. If I insert it in high enough it doesn't leak. Never leaks the next day. I don't like sleeping in a panty liner as that seemed to contribute to odor and discharge, so I put a towel on the bed and voila. In regard to side effects with blood pressure and emotional side effects, I would like more information on that. I told my doctor I thought it helped with hot flashes and she said it is only local and wouldn't help or cause other menopausal symptoms. The base is coconut oil and palm oil and my skin is not sensitive to that so the little bit that comes out just absorbs into my skin. Wash underwear in hot water. Read More Read Less

Very easy to use. Really like the disposable applicators. I’ve tried Premarin vaginal cream and many other products with no success. The packaging is no problem at all. So far so good.

Breast cancer threw me into menopause and in turn I've lost my drive and started having painful intercourse. Started using Replens after recommendation from oncologist, which helped if you were consistently using every other day. RN recommended this as a treatment instead and I think I did better with the Replens. Not to mention the prescription is $120 with insurance! Been using for 1 month and I'll give it one more month but if this persist I will go back to Replens which is about $15 for a pack that will last you about 2 weeks. Read More Read Less

I started this after using estradiol for years. The estradiol stopped working. This drug worked for me. I had very painful intercourse and with use in just 4 weeks I had no further issues. Yes packaging is a bit difficult to open- use some scissors! NO biggie. I encourage those with issues causing painful sex due to menopause to try this drug. I am a RN.

Packaging is almost funny, nearly impossible to open. A fight every night. I gave it 12 weeks and did not get any relief of my painful symptoms. Not to mention the high outrageous price of a 110. Co-pay. No I don’t recommend it. I see most women complaining about packaging but the company isn’t doing anything to correct it.

I could barely open the packages every month for 4 months I used scissors to open the whole month worth taking over 1/2 hour. The expense was ridiculous plus after giving it the full 12 weeks I found it did really nothing to help me. I think this medication is terrible and I’d steer away if I were any woman. I’d give it a negative rating if I could.

I just started using this and am not sure I will continue. I'd like to know who designed and decided to use a hard sharp-edged applicator for an item that is being used by women who have painful tissue issues. Seriously. the APPLICATOR cut me.And the plastic pollution that this is causing. This should have a compostable paperboard applicator. Unbelievable.
