I have great difficulty getting the tablet out of its wrapping! I am 64 yrs old and have gel nails, along with arthritis in my fingers! Pls change with encasing of the tablet and make it more user friendly!! That’s my only complaint about this product!!

I have seen benefits however I am discontinuing use for the same reasons others have mentioned: packaging. The plastic covering the inserts is often impossible to remove. I sometimes use my teeth or a scissors because I can't get it open with my hands--I'm 54 and fit. And the individual plastic applicators are a horrendous environmental problem. I don't use them. I insert it with my hand. Conseque...

I used intrarosa for 8 days. First 3 days everything was fine, days 4 through 8 the burning started. Internally and externally...from urethra to anus severe burning. I stopped using it and 5 days later I am blood red and still burning. My doctor says allergic reaction. Not sure how to get rid of the burning.

I received a free sample and used it nightly for 3 days. All seemed to be fine until I actually tried to have sex. Then the burning started. I had to stop and rinse myself off for it to finally stop. They do not list this as a possible side effect but I’m not the only one on this page who has experienced this.

I’m very happy with this medication. Hello orgasms! Feeling my sex life slip away due to pain and lack of sensation with menopause was devastating. I feel less pain and way more sensation. My partner is happy too! It’s nice to feel alive again and not to be in pain.

I have a neuromuscular disease called CMT and thus have weak muscles in my fingers and hands, so am unable to open the package, even using scissors. I live alone, so can't use it. The prescribing gynecologist refused to meet me in person so made a lot of assumptions, and clearly didn't anticipate that this product would be impossible to open. My insurance won't cover the product but I had a coupon that covered most of the cost of a one month prescription. I'm 59 and it took me years of asking my GP for help before I was referred to a gynecologist. His office changed my appointment to a phone call instead of an in office visit when I asked it the office was accessible for an ambulatory wheelchair user. I have to wait three months for my second appointment to ask for another type of vaginal estrogen.Read More Read Less

62 years old with horrible pain during sex, penetration was excruciating, after 2 weeks with Intrarosa as prescribed by my doctor, 1 insert every night the magic began, and husband is happy. The only side effect I have noticed is being happy again in bed, no more headaches, or any other excuses such pretending being sleepy trying to avoid sex completely due to pain. Thanks, Intrarosa.

I haven't seen any difference in the first 30 days of using this product. The one thing I have noticed is I have gained weight. I've been very good with my diet, I have a weight issues, and lost all my weight a year ago. Over the last year I gained some weight back, but this past 30 days seems like I gain everyday no matter if I eat a salad and exercise or not. Sex is still painful and not enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend this product. I've had no issues with the packaging, but don't feel it is working for me.Read More Read Less

Pro’s - helped with pain and dryness quickly. Not sure if they changed the packaging, but mine are not hard to open or insert without the included applicators. Con’s - oily, drippy, have to be used every single day. Expensive. Not a natural or bio identical product. Ruin your underwear or you have to wear pantyliners all the time.

Worked for me, no more dryness, no more painful sex, no discharge, packaging is what it is hopefully will get better. Overall very pleased with results. Had extreme meno pause and hot flashes that were life altering, all gone. Not sure if this is a side affect but my nails are growing beautifully and are no longer soft. Looks like I have gel nails. So a bonus!

Just as others have said, the application is frustrating. I must pay out of pocket for this product, and yet fully half of the ovules break in the process of opening the difficult packets. The applicator is annoying because it is hard to know if one has sterilised it for next use. When the ovules break they often fall on the counter or even the floor, and yet one wants to put only sterile things in the vagina. I will not buy thi9s product again until the packaging is sorted out. Other vaginal insertions come with the already loaded pump all in sterile packaging, and the process is simple. None of this is environmental perfect, but for the user it is an unwarranted unpleasantness. Read More Read Less

Used only one 30-day treatment and will not refill for two reasons. One, the high cost; with insurance I paid 299.99 at Walgreens for the 30-day. The second reason is I will not use it again is that it has excessive packaging that will only end up in the landfills. Strange that pharmaceutical companies which claim they care for the environment would go out of their way to include so much waste in their packaging.

After a hysterectomy, sexual intimacy was painful. I am very thankful my primary care physician asked if I wanted a prescription for Intrarosa. It has made a tremendous difference in my life.

I used this product for 4 years. The price goes up every year and insurance does not like cover it. I spent a couple months in the beginning of 2022 going through the appeals process just for insurance to allow me to process the rx. For two months I went without this product waiting for an insurance appeal. I’m not sure if they change the formulation since the original version I start taking in 2018, but, when I went back on it, in approximately 6 weeks I developed a significant amount of health issues. I did not realize how much this product contributed to imbalances in my body until I stopped taking it. I had a hunch that this was a culprit, and my doctor actually listen to me. She ordered a lot of labs while I was on the product and systematically each month after I stopped taking the product the product. I can say without it out a doubt and have proof in hand, that this product caused me to develop high blood pressure and extremely high testosterone (395 as a 53 year old female on zero hormones), hair loss, endocrine imbalances (Hashimoto’s goiter and vocal changes), mood swings and anxiety. I have been off of intrarosa for four months now, and finally my thyroid is starting to stabilize, my testosterone levels are in a normal range for my age, 20-40, my blood pressure is being managed, but only with medication now. I was told by the endocrinologist that this drug triggered an autoimmune disorder called Hashimoto’s. I agree with all the packaging complaints. It was inconsistent from box to box and sometimes it was easy to open and sometimes I would fumble for five minutes or more before I had to grab scissors to open. I would not take this drug ever again. While it was effective, the benefit did not outweigh the side effects.Read More Read Less

I have used IntraRosa for 3 months and when I started to notice a severe hair loss it took me some time to connect the dotes, but I am pretty sure IntraRosa is the cause. Anyone else? I talked to my obgyn but she refuses to listen not me. I have stopped using it for 3 weeks now but my hair are still shredding like crazy. I just hope it will stop :(

No problems with packaging except hate the plastic environmentally. After just 1 week, very low mood with a large teenage spot already. I will have to stop using unfortunately.
