Due to improper design this product causes cuts inside the vagina, which increases chances of getting an STD. The applicator is not smooth and is paunful to use. This product should be taken off the market.

I have been using Yuvafem since June and I am gaining weight. I started using it because when I urinate it sprays but I think I would rather have that to deal with rather than gain weight. And honestly I don’t see much difference in the problem I was having. I will probably discontinue use

I load the applicator up with coconut oil and easy to insert and release the pill. It’s taken away the soreness of vaginal dryness. I use it twice a week. Haven’t had a bladder infection since I started using this and some supplements. Much cheaper than Vagifem.

I read some of these reviews prior to picking up prescription so I had a little anxiety about the applicator. I suffer from vaginal dryness so I just used lubricant and it was fine, no tears or discomfort inserting pill. The applicator is very thin. My advise use lubricant and insert slowly abd push bottom part to insert pill. Easy!!

Pills do not dissolve. After reading about this problem from other online posts, I retrieved a pill that I inserted the night before. It had the consistency of a partially chewed gummy bear. I had been taking a generic made by Teva, which I was very pleased with, before an in-store pharmacy filled my prescription with Yuvafem. All the symptoms that the estrogen was designed to treat returned. Yuvafem should be pulled from the market.

I don't care for the applicator either but didn't see it as terrible. I did not see a difference with using this product and am moving on to something else hopefully more productive.

While I appreciate this is a tablet format versus messy cream that leaks out, I agree with others this design needs work. The applicator isn’t smooth and the plunger doesn’t always release the tablet which is a risk.

I have used this product for several years. It works well for vaginal atrophy. I did experience unexplained loss of appetite a couple of year’s ago. I ended up having surgery for removal of my gallbladder but did not experience pain prior to sudden onset the day before surgery. I continue to use this medication as it works

This lessened pain with intercourse, but still very painful. No problem with insertion, actually quite easy. I may try another med, but not really sure if any other will help, so will check back after trying another first

I'm sorry but this has got to be the worst design in an applicator. I'm thinking it must have been designed by someone who has no knowledge of the female reproductive organs as who else would assume that a vagina is straight and smooth like a pipe?! It's like sticking a pencil up your vagina. I don't even use the applicator. It seems like it could be distributed without the applicator thereby cutting down on the use of plastics as well. I have only been using the product for a few months. It seems to be working regardless of the applicator.Read More Read Less

Life saver. Thought sex was gone in my life. Even a Pap smear was painful. When my Dr. told me how inflamed and raw I was and how yuvafem can correct that, I got my life back!! Ithormonal side effects are minimal since itâ??s not a hormonal replacement like a pill or lotion.

I had positive changes within the first few weeks. Applicator easy to insert and tablet does not make a goopy mess like creams. Vag tissues and moisture much improved. Will continue to use since it makes me feel a lot better.
