2 weeks into the treatment and seeing a little improvement. Side effects at this point are stinging and burning and some redness. Cheeks tolerate it better than chin and mouth area. Skin has healthier glow, but whiteheads still appearing. Having to use vaseline for stinging areas as usual lotion stings now. Jury still out on 12 week course. Will update.

I hated this treatment! It burned and dried my skin out so bad that even washing my face burned. I quit using it altogether over a week ago and my face is still peeling, hurting, and burning. My Dr bumped me down to only using every other night, and even with washing it off in the morning & using Cereve's thick, heavy facial moisutrizer the burning and pain was so bad I couldn't tolerate it. August 28th 2021, I finally went to derm to fix my blackheads on my chin. Got a prescription! I will never go back to drugstore acne meds. Yes you will feel the hint of burning and skin flaking. That’s what benzoyl peroxide will do. What they say is also true: it’ll get worse before it gets better! Worse: itching and flaking and a bit of redness! READ the instructions! Do not put on areas that aren’t effected it will dry up and flake also and make it look messier! Only put pea size! In a few weeks I went from Big Dipper constilation on my chin to nothing on my chin (the only effected area)! I take pics to compare days and I looked at sundays (9/5) and today’s (9/8) and it’s like it disappeared! $75 well spent! I feel so much more confident with my face! Read More Read Less

Cons: Your skin will burn and itch in the beginning. Pros: Your skin will clear of acne. Now, I mainly get some acne around my cycle, but this prescription has visibly cleared my skin. Each tube lasts me over a year.

This stuff burns so bad. I keep doing back and forth between using this stuff/being in pain to abandoning it/having acne. When I use this stuff it is excruciating to put on my motorcycle helmet. Try something else if you have somewhat sensitive skin.

At first, it definitely dried out my skin. After a few months, my skin got used to it, I guess. My skin is much clearer than it once was and I only get pimples every once in while. If you have sensitive skin, Epiduo Forte will dry out your skin.

Better yet- no acne improvement. Just overall destroying all my facial skin.

Epiduo forte is really great if you don't have sensitive skin. Every time I use it my whole face gets red to where it looks like I have a sunburn and my face gets really dried out and I have been using it for about 3 months, but the next morning I'm satisfied with the results because my face is usually clear! So I recommend it if you don't have a sensitive face like me.
