I was prescribed this type of iron pill while I was pregnant as I was anemic. It is a pill that you will burp up and has a bad odor and taste. Because it offers other vitamins as well, the pharmacist told me that this was a good pill. I notice that my nails grow and are very healthy on this medication.

Been taking for over 4 yrs, post gastric by-pass. Tried taking over the counter multi-vitamins w/ iron but levels could not be substained, went back on ICAR-C PLUS, no more problems.
