1 x 5mg tablet twice a day. No noticeable side effects and no INR blood tests necessary. For me much better than Warfarin which left me disorientated, clumsy, memory problems and a constant dull headache.

Treatment for AF. Could not post without choosing something I do not suffer from!
Tried with this. I do not give in easy. However, after nine weeks of this and thirteen severe headaches and nine minor headaches I just had to stop. The last headache ended with me in A&E. Worries about a bleed into the brain. Not the case but it was over for me and Apixaban.
Better to die than go on like that.
Pretty long discussion with my cardiologist coming up.

Easy to take, and I have had no side effects once my body adjusted to it. A few headaches at first, but they went away.
