Anybody using Testim gel to teat orthostatic hypotension? I don't see the logic, and after a week of use, it doesn't appear to be working.

My cholesterol ratios are back to the normal range (60 year old male). Possible side effect: widespread multiple points on scalp and chest are burny-itchy. This is a small price to pay, for mitigating danger of cardio-vascular emergency.

Invigorating, literally! I have more energy; I have been getting to projects that have been waiting for a long time. I am more emotionally expressive; when I am happy I am very happy; when I am angry I get it out and over with, and then move on. It has also made the Viagra more effective, much more effective.

I'm 53 (single, heterosexual) with metabolic syndrome and sleep apnea, had very low energy. Free testosterone was at the lowest "normal" for my age. After 9 months TRT my energy is better, my need for 12+ hours sleep is down to a more normal 8, I've lost weight and gone off Effexor. And I often wake up with an erection which I hadn't noticed hadn't happened in a while (maybe years). Pharmacist cautioned to take antioxidants to prevent testosterone oxidizing to estrogen or progesterone in vitro (I forget which one) which often leads men to quit testosterone replacement therapy because it makes their symptoms worse. This includes supplemental zinc and selenium. Also test early in therapy to make sure testosterone level doesn't go above normal; this can cause unwanted aggressive impulses. Finally, it takes time for this therapy to start working, a few months, at least.Read More Read Less

started at 188 level 3wks. later 247 level. I haven't noticed any change in my workouts, bedroom, or energy yet. Refilling prescription and continue with 4 pumps hoping for better results.

This medication is not working for me. I had better results with the injectable testosterone.
