Centrum Forte Essentials gave me severe stomach upset 10 minutes after consumption. The pain was quite sever that I had to look it up online if this is a common problem. Google took me to the US amazon ratings page for this product. It turns out this problem has been reported by many users (hundred's if not thousands) of this product. I have used this product before and had not experienced any stomach aches, but something has changed probably during the manufacturing or in the ingredients of Centrum Forte Essentials. Some people have repoed that they had to go to emergency becuase of the severe pain, please stay away from the Centrum Forte Essentials. Read More Read Less

I've got muscle pains, stomach ache and back ache after an hour of drinking this vitamins. I stop this after I feel those pains.

***DISCLAIMER*** I took this under the advise and consent of my family physician. I only post as it worked for me and cannot testify to the "Scientific" or "Metaphysical/Physiological effects" of this vitamin.*** Recommended by family physician when I complained about a lack of energy. I explained that I had taken other multi-vitamins. He still insisted that I try it. After about three days I noticed a marked increase in mental alertness and more "un-nervous" energy. I would submit that it did cause me to have a little nasea if not taken with a meal or .5L of water (probably the iron). This has really worked for me over other multi's of both specialty vitamins reviewed/approved through US Pharmacopia, and other name brand vitamins. Ive been taking centrum over 10 yrs extremely satisfied never had a cold definitely helps immune system. Would recommend over any other vitamin.

I have stomach aches when I take a Zantac two hours after I take a Centrum vitamin. So it's better to space it more between taking a vitamin and antacid medicine.

This medicine works for me, but I find that if I take it in the morning on an empty stomach it causes nausea. That can be fixed usually by eating a little something before taking the pill.

I think this is a great product. I take the chewable version because I have a hard time swallowing pills and they seem to get stuck in my throat for ever. That is so uncomfortable. This is my saving grace. They also taste excellent.

I have inflammed taste buds in mouth, and food is tasting funny.

This is the best quality/most cost-effective multivitamin on the market (in my opinion). I've tested it for breakdown/release in room temperature water and found that completely breaks down within 2 minutes.
