Itchy, discolored, flaky, dry rash started during puberty, and got progressively worse. Started on neck thighs, moved to trunk, buttocks, arms, back, and everywhere except my face. Tens of doctors, tests, possible diagnoses, and ineffective treatments. I've tried it all. It's affected my confidence, my clothes (never shorts or t-shirts outside), vacations, etc. I thought this was just my skin for ...

I haven't used this product but want to know if it is safe to use on shingles? I have it on the right side of back and under arm at waist level. The prescription recommended is too expensive I need something affordable

I suddenly developed eczema at age 61. Nothing my doctor has given me has help from harsh prescription shampoo to different oils, creams and this medication. I cannot use any hair products of any kind except shampoo. I also get breakout on my upper body but my scalp is the worst.

After I broke out with Eczema over most of my body the VA prescribed this cream to help the itching and to clear up the affected areas. It worked great.

Adult onset dermatitis. Had it for years but never saw a dermatologist. Applied and itching, rash, and bumps were gone in two days. Only use 1x daily, every 4-5 days now rather than two weeks on, one week off, as DR suggested. Eczema is still there but minimal now

I’ve been using this cream for as long as I can remember which is about 5. Any time I have a flare up I use this cream and then put in lotion I usually have to use it for 3 days for the itching to completely go away depending how bad the flare up is or change of weather. It says use it for 14 days but I’ve never used it that long but once I shower then apply the cream within an hour it dosent itch as bad.

Doctors are not quite sure what my rash is from, but it's probably dermatitis. This cream did not work at all for me.

Was Rx'ed the 0.1% topical ointment for a rash of unknown origin/type. Used it liberally on arms & legs for about 6 days before I started to feel anxious & moody, so I stopped for 2 days. My ear canals were also crusty & burning. Felt better so I resumed using it for 1 more day & the symptoms got worse again so discontinued permanently. That was about a month ago. Ever since, I've had bizarre side effects including: worsening ear infection (dx'ed "Swimmer's Ear" by doctor), dry itchy scalp + hair loss, white peach fuzz growth on my face(!), severe bloating, stretch marks that weren't there before & increasingly dry skin around my nose/mouth. And ZERO improvement in the original rash. I know meds affect people differently but I feel sorry for anyone taking this stuff internally. Read More Read Less

I love this stuff. It starts working right away providing immediate itch relief and reduced soreness and ultimately clears up any flare up within a few days.

I have had uncontrollable itching since I got my Covid booster. My doctor started me on this since Benadryl, Benadryl cream, Benadryl spray & hydrocortisone did not relieve the itching. This cream almost instantly took the itching away. It did not cure the itchy rash that I have but has been a god sin to relieve the itching.

Developed a severe reaction to poison ivy on my forearms. It developed into large yellow blisters, swelling, inflammation, and itching. I used ice packs for relief. The doctor prescribed the Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1% cream applied twice daily. After three days my condition improved immensely. The blisters receded and five days later the yellowish-red skin color was returning to normal. This treatment was very effective for me.

I had an ulcer on my leg and the skin around it would itch terrible, causing me to reopen the wound. The doctor prescribed Santyl for the ulcer and the Triamcinolone Acetonide cream for the skin around it. Although I had to be extremely careful (one on only good skin, the other only on the sore) together they cleared both problems. Thank heavens now I can walk again.

After a few months of annoying chapping on my lips, I was prescribed this by a dermatologist, to be applied nightly and washed off the next morning. After about 4 days, my lips started turning blue. I discontinued using it. However, over the next few days my lips turned black and the skin-- ALL the skin-- began peeling away, until I was left with barely one layer on red/black lips that seeped blood constantly. They were so sensitive I could not eat, and even drinking through a straw was painful. I returned to the dermatologist who explained this was reaction not unusual and that I'd need to keep using it until my skin was "adjusted" to it. I, of course, declined. He did prescribe a steroidally based remedy which I applied several times daily so my lips returned to normal after another week. I regard this as a dangerous medication, however helpful it may be, that requires great care in usage. I recommend anyone, when starting out using it, to apply it sparingly for a few hours a day at first before any greater application, regardless of a doctor's usage recommendation.Read More Read Less

I have been battling a yeast infection for almost 10 years. I used this once a day and the end of the second day the infection was completely gone. A month later and it is still gone. Amazing.

I had a really bad rash around my neck and chest that was bumpy and red. Small patches were showing up on my inner elbow. The rash kept growing in about two week period which was really scary. I couldn’t sleep due to the itch, so I went to a dermatologist who prescribed .1% Cream twice a day and oral steroids Presnisone. After cream application dries and absorbs lathered up with ointment or castor oil for moisture. The itch stopped in 2 days and almost all redness went away in 3/4 days. I’m on day 10 and the rash is almost gone. My dr said this was eczema. My red rash is now brown and scaliness of the skin is gone. Cream seems to help with that as well. Very happy with the cream. Will definitely keep it and reuse for any future flare ups. I had one flare up similar to this 5 years ago, but never found out what I had. Suffered and never got relief even after multiple derm visits. Glad I found this derm who helped me. Read More Read Less

While this topical steroid was effective while we used it on my daughter to treat her atopic dermatitis, I wish we never ever used it. Her body instantly became dependent on it and whenever we tried to stop using it, instantly her skin flared worse than her eczema ever had. She is currently going through an incredibly painful topical steroid withdrawal (TSW) process. Please do not use this steroid, it will make your skin worse than you can even imagine!

Had a body scan by a dermatologist in late June. He noticed a long time small rash in two spots on my hands. He prescribed Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.5% that might take care of it, called it contact dermatitis. I started the cream the same day. Seemed to dry up the rash that I'd had over a couple of years. Then at the 3 day point of use a red itchy rash appeared on my elbow joints and upper arms, back of my hands. Cream was not put on at the rash sites at all. Tried the cream on the rash, got worse. Drug side effects sheet said allergic reaction was possible rash. Contacted the dermatologist on the following weekend. He said rash not generally possible. Prescribed stronger steroid cream. Drastically worse. Went on line to trusted homeopathic site that recommended a homeopathic treatment of common OTC health items that began to soothe it but it took about 4 days or so, it finally subsided. Then returned with vengeance more outbreaks but with the homeopathics it subsided after 5 days. It's been a month or more since the rash went away. The original rash on my hands was not affected by the homeopathics. Unknown its cause. As a speculative test, I tried the Triamcinolone Acetonide cream again. Within a couple of days the small rash points began to dry up. Then as before the 4th day, today, the multiple rash points appeared on my elbow joints and back of my hands and some on upper arms. A new place appeared on my neck both sides. I have to conclude it is my body's adverse allergic reaction to the Triamcinolone Acetonide cream. I won't be using it again for sure. Just wish there was a quicker mitigant to apply to the rash and a way to get the cream components out of my body, i. e. a detox of its components. What can a person do to hasten the healing of the allergic reaction?Read More Read Less
