Started feeling numb in my extremities, recalled this fact, took a thiamin supplement and ten minutes later was homeostatic (normal). Usually enough just to eat with, has done wonders in a week for my hair/nail streng...

This was in Purvana for Hair, Skin, and Nails and after taking it about a month I began having burning in my stomach; I hadn't been nervous but worried then about ulcers or cancer and didn't realize to stop taking it yet. I took Prilosec for 2 weeks. I was still having the burning; but perhaps that helped me some. I continued perhaps another week with Purvana and then realized it could be the ...

I had a stone in one kidney and a sand in the other. I had horsetail tea for one month or so, drunk it instead of water. Don't know what happend with a stone (2-3 mm) or a sand, but my kidneys were clean after a few months.

The Horsetail caused me extreme cramping before my menstrual. It took me a while to realize it was the culprit because I thought it was PMS. Once I stopped using it all cramping stopped.

I took Prilosec for 2 weeks. I was still having the burning; but perhaps that helped me some. I continued perhaps another week with Purvana and then realized it could be the Horse tail Extract in Purvana. I quit taking it a few days ago and am feeling almost totally well now. I have seen this in another hair vitamin at my beauticians, so be careful and realize this could cause side effects like I experienced.Read More Read Less

Started feeling numb in my extremities, recalled this fact, took a thiamin supplement and ten minutes later was homeostatic (normal). Usually enough just to eat with, has done wonders in a week for my hair/nail strength. I've had severe osteoarthritis in my right shoulder for a while and find it to hamper me far less when moving/exercising my shoulder. After a week it appears good for my shoulder, more data is required to make a competent judgement as to the effectiveness of this dietary supplement IMO. Read More Read Less
