I began taking one 100g container of Danone Activa yogurt with B.L. Regularis four months ago and my IBS has virtually disappeared. I am 58 and have suffered most of my life. I actually saw it advertised on tv and thought why not...must not be fat free or in large container. I have heard other people claim that this pro-biotic works and for me it has been a Godsend.

Following are the primary treatments I used that helped dramatically for my severe chronic skin infection, itchiness, and eczema: I tried to leave Tea Tree Oil Ointment on thick for 24 hours or more, then I simply wiped-off the thick scaly-skin with a paper towel. I also used a "Colloidal / ionic Silver-based Gel" which stopped or dramatically reduced my severe skin infection within 1 or 2 days (available at many health stores). Previous attempts with a couple of rounds of prescription antibiotics failed at reducing my skin infection and the prescriptions actually made it worse due to severe itching allergic reactions. On the other hand, the "Colloidal / ionic Silver-based Gel" worked almost immediately at reducing and eliminating severe chronic skin infection and itching on both my arms. Currently, you can search on youtube for "Sovereign Silver First Aid Gel" see before and after videos of my arms. After much of the thick scaly-skin was off, I used a Neem and Lactobacillus-based topical cream. It is not easy to find Neem-based creams that also have the topical probiotic Lactobacillus. However, I would guess that a cream may be created by simply adding some of the probiotic in powder-form from health stores to widely available Neem-based creams. I used "Episencial Soothing Cream" (a topical Neem and Lactobacillus Cream with lots of other natural ingredients included) and you can currently find it online. You should also be able to find the "Sovereign Silver First Aid Gel" online and in many local health stores. My guess as to why this topical Probiotic Neem cream was very effective at reducing or eliminating the itchiness and eczema for me is as follows: I have heard we all have bacteria on our skin naturally. I'm guessing that adding this "good" probiotic bacteria topically may help eliminate the "bad" bacteria on our skin. This skin condition had been a chronically severe problem for me for many months until I came across these natural products and methods.Read More Read Less

My experience using this makes me balk about people who say vitamins don't do anything. I have absolutley warded off infections be taking a few of these pills a day. Make sure to get the potent ones if you are already experiencing symptoms (it will have billions vs millions of bacteria). The less poten are fine for daily use.

I was diagnoised with colitis. My life and work was basically over since I would forever need to be close to a restroom. I started taking lactobacillus and with in a week started getting relief. My stomach makes normal sounds again, my trips to the bathroom have decreased. I intend to take the full course of the lactobacillus I bought and will suppliment it with Activia & Yakult. I will never take a course of antibiotics again with out supporting the "good bacteria". The exact brand was by Culturelle lactobacillus GGRead More Read Less

I started taking a probiotic a year ago, now I can not get off of them. They give me headaches and intense increased appetite, but when I get off of them, I am constipated and I get god awful pain in my stomach. Any suggestions?

Just started taking this on thursdsayafternoon. Seemed to have calmed my upset stomach. Took another one before bed time. Woke up at 5 am with a bad case of diareahi. That problem went on for about four hrs, so I took an anti diariarial tablet in order to stop the madness so that I could work. Is this what this tablet does?
