Decrease swelling after eyelid surgery. It worked so well that I remembered it when I started having problems with swelling legs because of arthritis. I think it works better than I had hoped!

I was told to take this medication prior to surgery on my neck and stop my rheumatoid medication Sulphasalazine and I found that this helps me so much better then the RA med. I had very little bruising. My RA pain is so much better. I can actually squat and get back up and I also have lost weight. I am going to advise my rheumatologist of this and perhaps continue the Arnica instead.

A good friend recommended I took Arnica for one week, two weeks before my knee replacement to avoid bruising of my leg. I can honestly say I had no bruising whatsoever and have recommended this to my sister to take before her knee operation. Three friends who had knee replacemenrts had bruising from hip to toe so I was pleased I had an excellent result from taking the Arnica.

I used it for 4-5 days both topically and internally. It was very effective in relieving deep bruise pain in ribs. However I found I had symptoms of gastritis, lots of belching and some burning in the gastric region by the 4th day. I have been taking a Prilosec for relief of these symptoms. The gastric symptoms are persisting for 5 days so far. I had been taking ibuprophen for a week prior, I continued drinking coffee, {one cup a day} and I was helping with grand children for a week. All of these things could have precipitated the gastric symptoms also.Read More Read Less

I play Aussie rules football so i get hit alot. used arnica for the last year along with the RICE method, bruises and strains have not healed any quicker. In fact if i did not RICE and just applied arnia is just as good as doing nothing.

I have used Arnica after every surgery: oral surgery, carpal tunnel, gall bladder, foot surgery. Arnica prevented the swelling and bruising which causes pain. Each time after surgery I did not have to take the prescribed pain pills because Arnica reduced the swelling and inflammation I may have had. I recently fell and hurt my hip. I took Arnica right away and I didn't get bruises and my hip healed in a short amount of time. I always prescribe it to someone who has a sprain or who will have surgery. I first heard about Arnica when my children attended a private Waldorf School. Now I always have some in the medicine cabinet.Read More Read Less

Used a topical arnica cream after getting stitches in my arm. I initially had a large amount of bruising and swelling. The cream diminished both issues in just a few days. Also helped tremendously with pain relief.

Have used arnica for several years. My skin is thin and bruises very easily. So arnica works great for that. THEN I had soneone tell me that it also works for swelling and arthritis, so tried it. Pain was gone and swelling down for quite some time. I love it.

Close to 40 years ago I got some frostbite on my feet in the Idaho woods. I live in a cold climate, often have to work outside and have experienced chillblains, itchy discolored purple toes and heel pain in my bony feet every winter. Arnica gel or salve rubbed into toes and heels seems to help bring back some circulation and lessen the tenderness and scary discoloration. We'll see if it's a long term help when the weather warms next spring!

Used it for knee pain after minor surgery. Purchased the topical gel and the little pills. Was amazed at how quickly it worked but needed to use it frequently. Did not have good dosing info on the pkg.

Can't believe it! Sprained my ankle a week ago (too much running I guess) put on an ankle brace and started taking ibuprofen aspirin etc. right away. So for 6 days I was hobbling around feeling sorry for myself, that's when one of my fellow workers mentioned Arnica and I thought why not it can't hurt to try. Today is the 1st morning after taking it in pill form all day yesterday, pain is gone!! I am still weary of whether I am really cured but I swear this is the best my ankle has felt since I sprained it. The only side effect I have experienced is a bloody nose and that seems to have cleared up this morning as well. Amazing!Read More Read Less
