I first started taking Petadolex when I was ten, and traveling abroad. My mother had been using it daily to ease migraine headaches for several years. My migraines were blinding, puking pain for hours up to days. Sometimes I would get background headaches that would be on and off for several days. So we tried taking butterbur as soon as I got any early warning symptoms. Almost invariably, if I tak...

I take 150 mg of Butterbur each day in combination with Quercetin & Bromelain for Seasonal allergies. It works. Ran out and immediately got congestion followed by a sinus infection. Started back up with the treatment and was noticeably better in 3-days.

I am using butterbur for overactive bladder and I do have some relief from those symptoms. It is better than the headache I would get from Detrol

I finished my first bottle of Butterbur and noticed a significant decrease in headaches. I did not purchase more and my migraines came back! I'm on it again and don't plan to run out! I've had migraines since I was 15 years old. This is the only natural remedy I have ever found effective. Instead of 2 or more bad migraines a month I might have 1 mild one.

Butterbur, (along with a low dose of endural), daily has caused my daily migraines to disappear! It took 6 weeks, (with little relief - and I was about to give up), but I have been migraine-free for 12 days! It has been forever since I've had 12 days in a row! I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

I used to get awful migraines at least 2x a month. I started taking 75 mg a day becasue that is what I had. My migraines slowly decreased in frequency and now I take 50 mg a day of petadolex and have reduced them to 2-3 per year.

Terrific results for me. I highly recommend Petadolex which has been tested in Germany. Does not contain any contaminants like many other herbal remedies have in them. My 24/7 migraines, often severe, have not been severe since I had taken Petadolex for about a month. I have taken it a total of 2 months now. To have had this kind of improvement for this long is the first time in 3 years of severe migraines where I often had to go the ER. By the way, I've also been getting nerve block injections monthly for the last 2 1/2 years and Botox injections for the last year. But Petadolex still has given me tremendous gains.Read More Read Less

Butterbur has saved the quality of my life. My migraines (which seemed to be accompanied with sinus swelling and pain) did not respond to traditional meds or the meds had such severe side effects I couldn't take them. I take Butterbur with Rosmarinic Acid. It works like a miracle. Tried not taking it for a week "just to see" and headaches returned. Now I take it regularly.

I am subject to very frequent, often disabling migraines. Although Fiorinal can help for 2-4 hours, use of Petadolex (Weber & Weber Gmbh)morning and evening, has lessenen the frequency and intensity of migraines, particularly the low to medium strength incidents. In my experience it will NOT abate the symptoms of a moderate to severe migraine (e.g., photophobia, phonophobia, difficulty concentrating, and so on).

Was having pretty frequent migraines. Prescription meds were just making me so drowsy. Decided to try Butterbur and I am glad I did! Works great. Rarely get a migraine and when I do they are mild. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Does make my eyes a little dry, but a small price to pay.

I have had daily headaches for years, with migraines occurring frequently, especially after consuming a "trigger" like MSG, tannins in tea, or nitrates in meat. After being on 2 pills of butterbur a day, I very rarely have a bad headache. Even after consuming a trigger, I may get a twinge, but nothing horrible. My constant background headache is GONE. Love it!

Taking daily in conjunction w/ Claritin and 1000mg of Vitamin C to combat Springtime allergies (sneezing, cough, wheezing, itchy eyes...). From '06-'10, my symptoms continued to worsen. After some thorough research, I started the aforementioned combo early March '11 and ALL symptoms have remained at bay through the end of April! I'm going to cycle off early May and repeat each Spring from here on out. Zero sneezing. Zero wheezing. Restful sleep. It’s worth a shot if you’re an allergy sufferer looking for a possible cure. Had been having almost nonstop migraines for 5 months, & had tried various other prescriptions, drs, etc. Started Petadolux butterbur, 50 mg. 3/day, and experienced significant improvement within 2 days. Have now been taking for 6 wks. and very few headaches, and none as bad as before. Petadolux is amazing! Please try it.

My family and friends have all started using Butterbur Extract and it has been a miracle. It controls our seasonal allergies with no side effects and a friend took it when he could get no relief from his migraine after prescription failed to work and his migraine went away with one 75mg Butterbur Extract. We love it and will continue to use it!
