I gained a lot of weight during Covid, so when went to get my annual mammogram, I was shocked at my numbers. I decided to give myself 90 days to lose weight and get my numbers under control. I can be very Type A when I have to be. I use the Source Naturals version of the Guggul supplement. I take it between meals which for me is twice per day. No allergic reaction probably because I didn't take more than the recommended on the bottle. (Insert eye roll here) I waited 90 days between panels for cholesterol. 210 to 174. My LDL dropped quite a bit. I'm sticking with this and plant sterols to avoid statin use as long as possible. I also use Berberine to lower my A1C from 6.1 to 4.9 in six months. Used this for Ayurveda diet and it made me extremely sick. I was throwing up extensively after 3 hours of taking this. Dangerous stuff. Always check the safety records of any herb of medicine before you take.

Had cholesterol at 239, 2 months of Himalaya Guggulu use, dropped to 185. Those who complained about itching its due to over-dose. Start with 1 tab a day and then max out at 2. Never, ever take more than 2. Once cholesterol dropped below 200, no need to continue. Switch to Himalaya Abana or HeartCare.

I had heard about this for weight loss and so I took it for that but discovered by accident that my severe arthritis had somehow improved. At first I didn't put two and two together. I stopped taking it and the arthritis pain returned. I have had such a bad bout of arthritis this past winter and when I saw the bottle I thought - try it again. Within just a few days on one capsule 400 mgs/day, no knee pain.

Dr. suggested trying this product, I have had some lowering of cholesterol, but will wait until my next tests to see if it is good enough to stay on.

Excellent for high cholesterol. I take just (1) 250mg Himalaya Shuddha guggulu per day and my cholesterol went down to 202 from 305 within 4 months. My LDL and my HDL and Tryglicerides are all within normal range. I never got a rash or itching. Some people take too high of a dose. I'll continue to take it maybe 3 times per week. Don't want my cholesterol to drop too low. I am a Black 61 year old woman. I didn't want to take Statins.

My cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides dropped significantly (by almost 50%) after taking an ayurvedic pill formula containing guggulu for a few months. Also my blood pressure dropped to normal again (age 68 years old). The formula had only a slight side "benefit" really of some loose stools (only if I ate large meals or overate or ate too much desert food). This was easily tolerated. I am in my late 40's and started taking Thyroid t-3 a month ago for weight loss. I haven't seen any weight loss but have seen a lot of other really positive results. I am sleeping better, panic attacks are gone, pain and stiffness in body gone and my sex drive has returned. The only negative things I can say are that it is expensive and you have to take a lot of pills a day. I take the recommend dose of 2 for breakfast/2 for lunch and 2 for dinner. I would rather just be able to take 1 a day.

i am just writing after reading the dissatisfied posts from users .. first of all guggul is a wonder herbal medicine and has no side effects , it is one of the safest and trusted ayurvedic product . in order to work effectively one has to also have a healthy diet and eleminate oily food and rice , try fruit diet along with guggul for 15 days and you will find minimum weight loss of 4-5 kg with commitment of basic exercise to loose fat .

Used if for the past 2 monthe. My cholesterol went down for almost normal. Started LDL level was 184 now it is 132. Took the Himalaya cups twice a day. No side effects so far

took Rasanadhi Guggul for 3 weeks. My Psoriasis which i had for 25 years on my knees and elbow dissappeared. i have been psoriasis free for 4 years.

Be careful, check for itching. I did not have any problem. This drug did wonders for me.
