Since starting benfotiamine, my joints don’t feel as stiff, and I’ve had less pain. I’ve noticed a real difference in how I feel overall. Nutraharmony's supplement worked great for me. Just wish they made gummies.

I started taking R-ALA and Benfotiamine in late Jan. 2024 for Peripheral Neuropathy. In two days I was so much better! If I eat anything with sugar the pain in my legs and feet gets worse again. I have never had diabetes, but I was pre-diabetes a few years ago. This supplement is worth a try along with eliminating sugar.

I had a 90% improvement in Peripheral neuropathy after two weeks of taking 400 mg of Benfotiamine with Thiamine (Vitamin B1).

As a Type 1 diabetic using 60 units of Insulin Aspart per day with an insulin pump, I found that my insulin usage DROPPED by 75% after 5 days of using Benfotiamine at 300 to 1,800 mg per day. My Thiamine was nearly gone and it could be what caused my T1D to start in 1990. I have fought and suffered nearly 34 years with T1D, and I am so glad I found Benfotiamine. This stuff is great! A few more weeks of this stuff at a high dosage should set things straight/ I don't fear the unknown; I welcome it.Read More Read Less

Ideopathic peripheral polyneuropathy: After 2 days, all burning in my feet disappeared. In the course of these three weeks, "woolly socks" feeling has greatly decreased, I can now wear "normal" shoes for more than 3 hours at a time and can walk for over 2 hours. I take Benfotiamine in combination with R-Lipoic acid, NAC, ALC, Magnesium, Omega 3, Biotin, Folate, mini dosage of B6 and B12. I've had neuropathy since 1999 and have been taking R-Lipoic acid, NAC, ALC, Magnesium, Omega 3 since 2014. Biggest "improvement" has come after adding Benfotiamine. I was unable to stand the side effects of Gabapentine/SNRI.Read More Read Less

Benfotiamine has reduced my cronic headaches caused by bad glucose metabolism. Strong improvements was recognised after only 3 days. I am still hopeful, that my Neuropathy will ease as well.

As with such things, the question of benefit is subtle. Would I be worse now had I not started this supplement? Am I better for it? I sense that I am better and would have been worse but I can't know for sure. Nothing dramatic but my neurologist says I have become stable and has taken me off regular visits for now.
