DRY EYES should be listed as one of the possible reasons for this treatment. I began taking it after reading of a study that says it lowers blood pressure. I'm not sure whether it's helping with that. But after the very first evening that I took it, I got up in the morning and found that for the first time in years, since cataract surgery, my eyes were not scratchy and painful. Recently I also found (from reviews on webmd) that flaxseed oil is good for dry eyes. Maybe other healthful oils would help too. Currently I take one tbsp of sesame oil with each meal. I plan to take either sesame or flax oil, or some kind of healthful oil, for life. By the way, I use an organic oil and keep it refrigerated, except that I may have to let it stand out for a little while before use. Read More Read Less
