This powdered LEAF significantly ameliorates my CHRONIC PAIN associated with: OSTEOARTHRITIS, HERNIATED DISK, SPINAL STENOSIS and severe FIBROMYALGIA--almost as effective as a correct opiate and just as effective as a Lyrica/Neurontin dose, but also melts away my ANXIETY and DEPRESSION. My mood, focus, energy, and productivity are all also elevated. I take between 2 to 2.5 grams of powdered the ...

Kratom is deadly and addictive! I've known several people who have died and many who are struggling with terrible addiction (see Reddit thread for Quit Kratom) Please read what the FDA and National Institute for Drug Abuse (NIDA) has put out-- don't even start this drug!

Honestly, I started taking this for recreation but quickly realized it helped with my back pain a lot. I heard about it on a podcast and found it at a local smoke shop. I have taken this for a few years but I started over doing it. I was taking 9 capsules twice a day for at least a year and a half. I started having trouble breathing and my brain didn't even think it could be the kratom. Long story short, I cut it back significantly and I don't take it every day. Breathing back to normal. When used in moderation, I feel it is safe for me. Read More Read Less

This MEDICINE is a miracle. It helps everything from my chronic fatigue to anxiety attacks. My experience with it has been great! Only thing I would suggest is taking it after you get food on your stomach to avoid any nausea.

Years of taking 800mg ibuprofen like candy for chronic lower back agony and sciatica got to the point where I couldn't even sleep, couldn't find a single pain free position except fetal position. I had an oxycodone prescription but hated the dirty, semi nauseous state it put me in so never finished the bottle. I get up and limp around like an old stiff man. Chronic daily pain made depressed and irritable and sapped my motivation. I found out about kratom and tried the green kind. A couple days later I actually went to see a music concert and found myself singing and laughing like, well, like a human being, ..something I hadn't done in, gads, a decade it seems. All this talk of addiction..heck! I'm already addicted to breathing and water and ibuprofen. Anyone control freak wants to ban this, I'm sure 5 years of sciatica will humble his overgrown ego. I take 4 to 5 grams a day of green or white. The red makes me feel yucky. Anyway, kratom for back pain and sciatica is miraculous. So glad I never sold my beloved motorcycle, as now we're sure having fun again. I can't believe how it just started up and runs nicely after all that time, covered by a tarp, it sat in my garage on a trickle charger. Well, that's my story so far. It's a joy to see my calendar filled with plans and excursions, now that my back pain is no longer the King of my life.Read More Read Less

Here's the thing, I'm almost 60 and have used it for about a year and a half. It give me a boost of energy throughout the day but I find difficulty getting to sleep so I over medicate at night to sleep. When I awake, I have a "hangover" type feeling (nothing like an alcohol hangover) that with ibuprofil and Clonazapam subsides. By 8 or 9 am I'm taking three tea spoons per dose in water. It works. Here's my biggest concern. I am also a diabetic, but I think this would apply to just about anyone. It elevates my blood pressure to an alarming level. 170/98 versus 120/78 normally. This is asking for trouble. Most people don't have a BP meter but as a diabetic it's something I monitor. I worry about having a stroke with those kinds of numbers and it would be no one's fault but mine. So, I've tapered and on Sunday I stopped. It did take a long time to taper slowly down to once a day and then finally stopped. My body is going through changes, withdrawals I suppose, and they are not major but they are noticeable. I'm cold throughout the day, I'm feeling my feelings fully again, I'm tired throughout the day and can lay down (have to lay down) for a half hour or hour a day (I work at home) and then CANNOT get to sleep at night. I presume these will subside but I'd like to hear other's experience with quitting Kratom. I was using a mixture of White Thai and White Mangda (sp?). Thanks. Read More Read Less

I took 2g for my first ever dose of Maeng Da kratom and I got these capsules at one of the best always highly rated sellers called happy go leafy. I have to say I didn’t feel a dam thing. This leaves me to say it’s not legit and is just a fad. Must be the placebo effect that others are feeling. Not sure what else to say , I felt zero, nada, not a thing. Big waste of money.

I was introduced to kratom by my daughter who took it for minor depression periodically. As a scientist, I read quite a bit about Mitragyna and was surprised to see what little actual research has been done, just countless, unscientific "dire warnings" about usage and opioid addiction. (I'm not negating those potentials, but again, you need qualified, peer-reviewed research to back up claims as great as those that exist.) As someone who had herniated a disk and suffered debilitating sciatica (since recovered through injections, pain medication, and PT, but still prone to flare ups), I was curious about the pain-relief and cognitive effects. The key difference that I've noticed between oxycodone and kratom is that the kratom has a much gentler effect, meaning that although the similarities in pain relief are noticeable, I haven't had any heart issues (palpitations, like with oxycodone). Psychologically, I do feel slightly energized, but the most curious thing is a long-term feeling of what I can only describe as "gratitude" for those around me that starts about 30-40 minutes after a 2g dose (tea). The best "side effect" of kratom for both my wife and me is the complete lack of alcohol desire. We were never big drinkers, but after a few sips of wine or beer, in the evening after our afternoon kratom, it just doesn't taste or feel right. It's very strange, but definitely not a complaint. We also sleep more soundly and if we happen to stop having our daily tea (traveling, etc.) there hasn't been any type of withdrawal symptoms. The only negative is the slight urinary restriction and periodic "itchiness" (both also occur with oxycodone), but the itchiness is much more pronounced with oxycodone. Hopefully, we see some actual research done in the future and perhaps be able to put a lot of the hysteria to rest. If you're uncertain, check with a trusted, and well-read, common-sense doctor. I have been using kratom for about 3 1/2 years. To start off I will tell you the negatives I have experienced from it. When you take too much kratom only when you take too much I feel naseous, dizzy, vomiting, and I get tremors in my hands. Now usually once I vomit I feel better since I'm getting it of my system. Now this can be easily avoided by just taking it in low doses. Now to why I continue taking it. I use it for pain, I have scoliosis in my back and wasnt really helped by the doctors I went to and just gave me medicine which either did nothing for me or helped a little bit but made me tired and drowsy which doesn't help me when im at work. Then I found kratom. It alleviates my pain completely, it's like im not in pain at all. It allows me to actually live my life without being in so much pain I can barely walk or move, where I just want to lay down to alleviate the pain. Kratom should not be used for recreational uses. Don't just use it for its euphoric effects and what not because you are going to be disappointed you are going to take too much and fuck yourself up. Just don't do it, use the product as you need it. If it's an opoid addiction or if it's pain. The more people who use it as a drug to get high off of you are only going to be hurting the people who need it. I need this to actually function and be happy. I was miserable from the pain. Now I'm not because of kratom. Word of advice start with low doses. Take as needed and mix with a drink you like. I use simply pink lemonade for the powder version and only put 3 spoonfuls in a 16 fluid ounce bottle. Take 2-3 sips at a time and you should be fine and shouldn't get any overdose side effects. Now also be mindful of mixing with prescription medicine and I recommend being extremely careful with taking both. Especially if it's related to your heart and liver. It could cause problems for you. Just be mindful of it don't be careless and make sure it will work for you. That's about all I will recommend this product to anyone who has any chronic or acute pain. And if you are trying to get off an opioid addiction. Read More Read Less

I was in the Philippines taking 40mg of Paxil and ran out during COVID-19. I went to Kratom and had no Paxil brain flashes and kept my mood up. 10 years on Paxil. Now I take 40m of Paxil a week. I use Kratom as the most effect medicine for my fibromyalgia. It has changed my life for the better. Five years of taking best health ever as I turn 70. Big pharma wants me on their meds but I know better.

12 years of responsible use. I repeat, RESPONSIBLE USE. I went from 300 lbs and barely able to get out of bed due to crippling Degenerate Disk Disease in 2011 and I am now 50, 179 lbs, and in perfect health. I built a gym in my house. I am an advocate first and foremost. You may read repetitive negative comments here that have been written by the same group of people over and over. Use cGMP vendors. Don't use extract. There's no need. It will kill your tolerance and can cause dependency. Hydrate often. Keep the amount low and you should reap the benefits. I'm addition, the focus and mood boost has been excellent. Do your research. The FDA hates it because people are able to get off of dozens of narcotics with it. Pharma doesn't like that hence the FDA misinformation campaign started by Scott Gottlieb who went from the Commissioner of the FDA right to the board of Pfizer. Total conflict of interest. I use Kratom for arthritis pain as well as ADHD there’s no evidence that the substance is hurtful or even causes death. How can you put on here that it causes death and then say there’s not enough information. Drugs that cause death are opiates, heroin, and other things the government will continue to allow people to use, this actually has a ceiling and it is impossible to cause death such as marijuana but when combined with other dangerous substances like genetically engineered opiates, I think I am, it can be dangerous Read More Read Less
