I've found Kratom to be highly beneficial for both pain control & related insomnia. It's definitely not as potent as pharmaceutical opioids & that may be positive or negative depending on your POV. The taste isn't all that bad despite what many claim. Kratom simply has a strong plant-like, organic taste. And you might read some of the comments from people claiming how dangerous Kratom is. Well, it's not as long as you use it in moderation, like anything else. And the claims of it being deadly are totally absurd & incorrect. There is no known cases of any deaths DIRECTLY linked to Kratom. In the small number of deaths where Kratom was found post-mortem, EVERY case had multiple other substances involved, including benzodiazepines & other opioids. It give me energy. I’m a mom and it’s nice to get a lift of energy and a better mood. I got kratom though bc of my husband. He’s a non functional alcoholic. Did AA, inpatient, outpatient, therapy, meds. You name it he tried it. He basically chose death over stopping. I came across kratom in my last hopes of a man I love. From my osteoporosis to pinched nerves this plant has ABSOLUTELY made a huge improvement in my quality of life. Very Few side effects. Even if you take too much u just get dizzy. I seriously doubt you could overdose. It’s helpful to those who want to drop heavier substances whether from the Dr or bad choices. You still feel the pain. You still have to do the work but this plant medicine is a life saver.

Kratom has been a life changer for me, plain and simple. A little over 3 years ago I was in a very dark place. I was always hurting due to nerve damage in my legs, I would drink to take the pain away which only ended up spiraling into a bad alcohol addiction as well. I lost everything that mattered to me. Friends, family and was struggling with bills. I just couldn't get out of the cycle of pain and inebriation. A friend of mine told me about kratom and I must admit at first I was very skeptical of this green dirt lol but nevertheless I gave it a try, that was the day my life turned around. For once in YEARS I wasn't hurting and I wasn't falling down drunk either! I've tried many pharmaceuticals in the past and either they didn't work, I didn't like the way they felt OR the doctors visits and med prices were too much for me to handle. Got me off of prescription opiates, I can now control my chronic pain with natural sources with less side effects.

Diagnosed with chronic, intractable pain. A decade of opioids via pain clinic. Expensive and mostly ineffective. Suicidal ideation became part of my miserable existence. Switched to Kratom over 4 years ago, and the results are remarkable - such a blessing. Effective pain management and I can live my life. You must be diligent and purposeful in your approach to Kratom. Weigh every dose, don't take more ' just because.' off you respect it as a medicine, it can be life changing.

This plant has been a total game changer for me. It is efficient in relieving my pain without being drowsy when it wears off and I don’t experience any symptoms when I don’t take it this plant has totally improved my life making the pain less distressing and believe there are plenty of benefits

Kratom absolutely gave me a QUALITY life back!!! I have 4 fx in L-4, L-5, S-1, S-2, DDD, Spinal Stenosis & Peripheral Neuropathy, from a fall down icy steps in Jan. of '98, while pregnant. I was on opiates for 20+ years. April '19, my pharmacy did not have my meds to refill, as I never got mine filled until the day they were due, I was going to have withdrawals quick, (I have a hyper efficient liver) my husband had been using tea(kratom) for @ 18 months but I never trusted it to handle my pain. However, I knew it would mitigate the withdrawals. I gave it a shot and the pain control was unbelievable..( goes down to Zero at times!!!) I got my meds filled, but haven't taken any since. I just made the jump and have my pain management docs full support, my labs have all been WNL in the last 2 years. I started with Red Bali and now use greens during the day and reds at night. Kratom is a life saver. Had been offered oxy by a pain management doc..wasn't interested. Tried kratom on a friend's recommendation...does not take all the pain away but definitely takes the edge off without a narcotic type high.

It has changed my life. I went from debilitating anxiety to being the best wife, mother and version of myself on a daily basis! I HAVE NEVER BEEN AN ADDICT! This wonderful plant is a godsend to us all.

This plant is magical in the beginning but its a pain in the ass to get off when you become physically addicted over a long period of time. it worked for me for about a few weeks for pain, then my tolerance built up and i needed to take more, while it worked again for a bit, i found it becoming ineffective for my pain. so i decided to quite Boy was i in for a surprise. i read everyone on reddit r/kratom telling me there are ZERO withdraw symptoms, they said it would be like quitting coffee. i trusted them. the first day off, i felt sluggish, then restless legs set in and then the insomnia and diarrhea hit me hard. this went on for a few weeks. i redosed to just feel normal. Getting off kratom was a nightmare, i would not have tried it if the reddit people were truthful, all they cared about were people not talking bad about it to keep it legal, very selfish. .They deceived their users and many are going through a tough time getting off. I found r/quittingkratom to be helpful and truthful. I learned that kratom is an opioid and that is the reason for my physical withdraws. The withdraws alone should make it illegal as ive read that heroin addicts have had an easier time getting off that than kratom. I urge people to think twice about this drug and to proceed with caution when researching on reddit. reddit does not have YOUR best interest in mind. they even sell kratom drinks at the gas station that are very potent and can raise tolerance and make it even harder to get off. imagine if a kid got ahold of this stuff. Kratom has changed my life. I was unable to do a lot of the things I used to do before back surgery. After several years of being home and not exercising, playing with my children, etc due to pain I was introduced to kratom…. I’ve been drinking kratom tea for 5 years now and my labs look better and I feel better!

I am a recovering alcoholic/addict. Who has been clean 5-6 years. Suffering from depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Kratom has help me tremendously. Of course I’m not perfect. With the help of Kratom. I’ve become a more productive part of society.

I have been using Kratom on average 3-4 days a week for two years. When I use it, I use 2 or 3 grams. I suffer from persistent low mood, to the extent of frequent suicidal impulses, and the only thing that has more than marginally helped me is Kratom. I always take at least 2 days off a week, in order to assure that I am not getting "addicted." I could probably use it every day, because on the days that I use it, I have zero desire to do more then 2 or 3 grams, ever, so the addiction seems similar to that of coffee. But I just don't want to take something every day, so I don't. This plant is at least as miraculous as marijuana, and it is so potentially helpful that the government, and the pharma industry, is going to try to make it illegal. 3 yrs using this plant. It helps my pain control. Anxiety and overall mood. Helps me move around with my stiff feet in the mornings along side my coffee. I use it 3 times per day . No Bad effects !!!

Use for chronic back pain and joint pain. Have allergy to aspirin and tylenol has been proven to cause liver problems.

Been taking it around 5 years. Saved me from opiates. Great alternative for me. It doesn't make me "high" or fog my senses like prescriptions did. I use it for pain after several surgeries including a spinal fusion and total knee replacement. It's great for my long term chronic pain. I'd prefer taking Kratom over opiates any day be abuse with kratom I do not experience any bad side effects at all. Works for me! My dad uses it as needed for pain, maybe a couple times a month. He prefers it over alieve. I use it daily. It also helps my anxiety. It's a lifesaver! I have been taking Kratom for almost 6 years. I suffer from Bipolar Depression, PTSD, Anxiety and Panic attacks. Kratom has given me an amazing 6 years without hospitalization in the psychiatric ward and ECT treatments. It is a blessing and truly amazing.
