Started taking this after reading a letter sent to Dr. Whittaker's Wellness Center Health Newsletter. The relief was almost immediate. My Doctor had me using hydrocortisone suppositories. Which were only partly effective. I asked him about this supplement, and unfortunately he had not heard of it. I have been taking 450mg twice a day, with 50mg twice a day added to it. I sure wish the American Doctors knew about it!!! My only concern is what are the effects of "long term" usage?

In my 74th year in age, beginning just over a week ago, I began using Diosmin 95% for symptoms of lymphedema, aggravated by water retention, for extremely heavy and painful, achy glutes and legs, all considerably interfering with having to stand on the job. And there are intense bouts of severe foot and leg cramps at night, interrupting sleep and disrupting decent rest. . I front-loaded Diosmin 95% (600mg tablets) by double-dosing the first week, and noticed a difference on the very first day. Then with certitude by the third day and into the end of the first week, I can say confidently that the results are spectacular. . Sadly, I wish I could have known about Diosmin way-way earlier, for my dear, late mother suffered severely from lymphedema and I could have thus helped her better-manage her great discomforts. She passed away just a year ago, after a lifetime of complications from a complex of conditions that ultimately traced back to the original and serious dysfunction of lymphedema. But she now has no more suffering, and at last has full rest... . . Now, in my second week using Diosmin, after the initial, first-week front-loading, and currently experimenting to find my appropriate dosage, I am alternating one-a-day and two-a-day. After taking the Diosmin it shows show effect. That us my haemorraghe less tense.

varicose veins in ankles and legs have disappeared or lightened. Have been taking this for 2 months.

Diosmin 500 mg is sold as a prescription drug in many European countries, I was amazed when my American doctor hasn't heard of it and asked me to use essentially Vaseline suppositories for my bleeding hemorrhoids. I got diosmin in the US instead and 500-1000 mg a day stops bleeding in about 1-2 days. I don't take this regularly; only for a couple of days every 2-3 months when I have bleeding. Extremely effective. In the US it's typically sold as a natural remedy for varicose veins. Product "flushed" my very swollen and painful legs (they were spontaneously weeping lymph from knees to ankles). Coupled with common sense treatment--no alcohol or caffeine, gentle exercise, massage legs 2-3 times per day, elevate legs during sleep--returned legs to normal in about 2 weeks. I've never seen anything work so fast.

Reduced the pain in my legs by second day of use. If I forget to take the once a day pill, the pain returns. Has also reduced the appearance of the veins on my legs.

I got several varicose veins and start to experience hemorrhoids at times. It wasn't that alarming yet but im particularly conscious of my legs and hands that had big veins, not so good looking really; i can't help but wear jeans most of the time. Until my son gave me Diosvein, a particular brand of diosmin+hesperidin. At first i thought it won't work but just after a week of taking it twice a day, i saw an immediate relief in my skin/vein that i was so happy that it's working! I have taken this treatment for about 2 months at 500 mg instead of 1,000 mg per day because I forget to take it at my second meal most of the time. You say take it only for 3 months. Venacura says take it for 6 months and check with your doctor. The pain behind my knees has lessened and it may be helping my internal hemmroid but I have changed my diet to less meat, more vegies, and fruits plus 1,000 mg of ground flaxseed. Also have had 4 bandings. Also walk 1 mile a day in 20 minutes, seven days a week. I am a diabetic Type 2, diet controlled for 16 years off and on. Also taking a liquid vitamin.
