I take ginseng intermittently as an energy booster/physical and mental stress reducer, usually only once a day even if the recomended dose is two or three times daily. I have found it to be very effective without causing nervous tendencies as long as caffeine use is minimized or removed. I have had no problems sleeping even if taken close to bedtime; whether I stay up later or fall asleep at my usual time, it makes no difference. As I have seen it noted on more than one brand's label, I discontinue use during menstration and have never taken it for more than 3 weeks at a time. I have noticed a sudden lack of energy lasting 1-3 days after discontinuing this product if it is taken for more than a week straight.Read More Read Less
