I have been on this medication for 3 weeks and I am very please so far. Only side affect is the swelling of my left wrist, which is tolerable. My readings have improved immensely. I feared taking any kind of insulin and did not want to do it, also was my fear that I would gain weight, but actually I have lost 5 pounds in the three weeks that I have been on it. I also exercise regularly. The nee...
I've been talking for 6 month constantly increasing dosage now at 210 units per day. Have constant weight gain and testing this morning was 289.

The new Flex pen is a disaster! A huge step backwards. I will be asking my Doctor for a different prescription as soon as I finish this batch.

Obviously the switch to flex pen by the manufacturer was to save money no matter how it effected users. It is horrid, but they don’t care.

Change from the easy to use Flextouch pen to the new Flexpen is awful. Very hard to administer with arthritis in my hands. Will be looking to find another approved insulin pen. The new pen is so hard to use, I almost think that the manufacturer wants people to leave as they are not making the money that they used to make on insulin.

Been using Flexpen for many years , with no problem . Now that they made it thinner , it is VERY hard to push down , it actually hurts to use going to ask my doctor for another brand to use.
Hope Novo Nordisk people are happy to lose customers.

Lavender medication is excellent however the new flex pen is a very poor design. Pen is hard to push making it difficult to administer necessary dosage and needle easily bends Which makes it difficult to inject without causing additional pain and knots at injection site. Please bring back original pen!

The new Levemir flexpen is horrible. It is so hard to inject and it is poorly made. It is painful to have
to push the pen so hard to get the insulin to go in that you end up hurting yourself. Please bring back the flex touch. I love the insulin, hate the pen.

It is obvious to me that this must have been a monetary change with the new pen. The attributes of the pen are horiible. The needles bend. It’s painful. The worse parse part is the injection part. It’s so hard to inject that you hurt yourself. You can look forward to hurting yourself twice a day, every day. Please go back to the old pen. Tell your stock holders money is not everything.

The new pen is terrible! I have very strong hands and still have a difficult time injecting it without moving the pen around and wiggling the needle under my skin. I am going to talk to my doctor about switching to something that allows me to not get bruises and pain with every injection. I have no idea how a senior citizen with weaker hands would be able to use this.

I do not have a problem with the medicine itself, but the new pin design is HORRIBLE! I have experienced what many others have. The new pens are too difficult to use, I’ve had many needles bend and bruising at the injection site that I never had before.
You need to either go back to the old pen design or better yet, find out who manufactures the delivery system for Ozempic pens. Those are the smoothest delivery system pens I’ve ever used.
I, like others have said, will not continue to use Flexpen if the design doesn’t improve.Read More Read Less

The new Levemir Flex pen design is so difficult and awkward to use and now it is even MORE painful! The touch pen is simply no longer being made as I was told by the manufacturer, Nordisk.
Whoever designed this pen is very obviously NOT diabetic and has never had the privilege of needing to shoot themselves up with insulin multiple times a day to stay alive.

The new pen is difficult for me because I have arthritis and the plunger sticks up to far for me to be able to push it down. I have tried half a dose at a time to shorten the plunger, but that is still difficult plus I have yo stick my self twice. I am very disappointed you discontinued the original pen.

New Flex Pen is awful. The plunger requires a great deal of force to function. Causing bruising and bleeding. The Flex Touch Pen worked great. Will consult my doctor and seek an alternative to Levemere due to terrible pen.

If you have small hands you struggle to depress the button if you wind it our past 20 units. For someone who has to take 100 units it's a struggle.

The new Flexpen is actually the old Flexpen before Flextouch came out. I also cannot stand using the Flexpen. I take 60 units a day. Using the first time after the design change I twisted the dial all the way to the max dose of 60 units. I had to press so hard I also bent the needle inside of me. Luckily it did not break. Thumb also drags on the area of the black twist dial and the green injection button, making it even harder to inject.I now split my dose 30/30 morning and night. I am also going to look for another insulin when I use up my existing pens. Funny thing is Novo Nordisk changed the Ozempic pen to the Flextouch design. Have to make it easier for all the weight loss seekers, be damned the diabetics.Read More Read Less

Why did the discontinue the Flextouch pen? This FlexPen is much harder to use. The plunger sticks so far out you have to use 2 hands unless you want to push really hard into you stomach to control with one hand only. Did they use an Orangutan hand to test this prior to release. So dumb and unnecessary.

Putting profits above patients is exactly what you people did.
Changing the Flexpen system was stupid and your company should swallow itself.

Levemir flex touch was great
The new flex pen is terrible.
Pen is hard to use.
When injecting the insulin is sliw coming out and it's difficult to get all the insulin out of the flex pen I. Have also noticed that maybe the insulin may not be the same formula.
As sometimes it seems to bring my sugar done and other times it works.
I would not recommend this product as I have Bern taking over 10 years
