I've had dry itchy ears that sometimes bled for years. The rememdies doctors prescribed did nothing for me. I finally visited an E-N-T doctor who prescribed DermOtic Oil for me. My Rx for DermOtic was written so as to allow for substitution of a generic equivalent. Since DermOtic was not listed in my insurance carrier's Formulary, I did some online research and found that its active ingredient is fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%, and there was a listing for that in my insurer's Formulary. I HAD DRY ITCHY EARS IN THE EAR CANAL AND THIS PRODUCT HAS DONE WONDERS FOR ME IN JUST A FEW DAYS. I WISH I HAD GOTTEN IT SOONER THAN LATER.
