Just let me start by saying I almost didn't get the treatment becasue of the reviews I read on this site. I am a 50 yr old women that loves to run. I had my knee scoped 2 years ago and am now bone on bone and was looking for some relief. My Dr. suggessted Euflexxa. I was excited for the chance of running without pain. Then I started to do research online and everything written was absolutely terri...

I am preparing for this Euflexxa and quite frankly I am more nervous than before reading the reviews on this procedure. I had surgery on 11/26/10 and I am still inable to function. I can barely walk and the pain is so intense I wake almost nightly to screeming out in pain. I know that I have to try something, I can not continue in this pain and on pain medications. I am a heart patient and diab...

I had the required 3 shots in 3 weeks in both knees, almost 7 weeks ago now. It made my knees so much worse, I'm now using a walker. The Cortizone shots that I had gotten before, made my knees so much better, I thought this would really help. Unfortunately, it didn't. I couldn't recommend it for anybody.

Went to the Doctor with moderate knee pain but still able to work. However I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for the 1st of 3 injections. Since the medication was sent to a speciality pharmacy, the pharmacy had to call me for approval then had to call the doctor's office before it could be shipped to their office. Once the medication was at the office I was able to make an appt. for the first injection. (I needed up missing a week of work because the knee pain became so severe.)

Need total knee replacement, but was going to Europe. Dr Rx Euflexxa, may work, may not, could work up to a yr. Series of 3 shots. Took about a month, but with the exception of still can't bend my knee totally,I have been remarkably pain free. Going to do it again, if I'm still a candidate.

I get these shots every 90 days instead of a knee replacement. I do not know how long you can continue to take these shots.

Due to the onset of stabbing pain (much like an ice pick being stuck in my knee) caused by arthritis, I opted for relief with Euflexxa. This is my first time using it and, so far, it is wonderful! I noticed immediate relief after the very first shot and it got even better following the 2nd and 3rd shot. The doctor told me that most patients that have success with this will notice improvement after the first shot...so I am glad it is working for me. Grateful for this product and hoping the cost will eventually lessen since I am paying out of pocket for this! Read More Read Less

I am SO relieved to find something that allows me to return pain-free to biking, hiking, etc. I wonder if the fact that I have kept my quads and hamstrings pretty strong from lots of walking and gym visits has made the drug more effective??

My knee pain would come in while I was active or just resting. Having 3 knee scopes my family Dr. thought I might be ready for a knee replacement. I was referred to a specialist who thought we could try Euflexxa. I just have my first injection and I slept pain free. I can flex my knee and I'm walking without pain. No more Ibuprofen. And this was only after the first injection? I'm already amazed.

Very effective when I first got the shots 6 months ago. For me, they lasted just shy of 6 months. I am now on my 2nd of 3 injection treatments (last one next week) and already I notice the great difference again! Pain virtually gone. Stiffness greatly minimized, not as much 'cracking' and 'popping' and, overall, LOVE the treatments. I will say the pain of the injections are hit-and-miss. The last round 3 of the 4 were not problem but one in the left knee was a little painful and had soreness for about 1 hour until it worked its way into the knee. Highly recommend to anyone with OA.Read More Read Less

This is my last option before knee replacement surgery, and I'm in more pain now then before the shots. I had all three shots one week apart, and it will be one month since the last shot tomorrow. Before the shots I was in pain, after the shots my right knee now goes numb. I would not recommend the shots.

I originally had the series of 3 injections two years ago with no real success. Last year I arthroscopic surgery and have been in worse pain. My pain management doctor suggested I try the injections again and I did. I had the last injection a few weeks ago. I am not totally pain free, but I am much better and have little knee pain. I do not want to do anymore knee surgery. I will stick with the injections every 6 months.o
