Just let me start by saying I almost didn't get the treatment becasue of the reviews I read on this site. I am a 50 yr old women that loves to run. I had my knee scoped 2 years ago and am now bone on bone and was looking for some relief. My Dr. suggessted Euflexxa. I was excited for the chance of running without pain. Then I started to do research online and everything written was absolutely terri...

I am preparing for this Euflexxa and quite frankly I am more nervous than before reading the reviews on this procedure. I had surgery on 11/26/10 and I am still inable to function. I can barely walk and the pain is so intense I wake almost nightly to screeming out in pain. I know that I have to try something, I can not continue in this pain and on pain medications. I am a heart patient and diab...

With the Euflexxa 3 injections I became crippled, lost my mobility, have a lot of pain, can't drive and now 4 and 1/2 months went by. I hope God will punished dr. Reyher /Spring Hill Center of bone who lied to me and destroyed my life. I had more side effects and the Ferring people didn't help me. I warn everybody to search very carefully and save yourself from a lot of pain and to get crippled. All above reported to many places and case is not finished.

Had Baker's cyst behind knee as well as clicking and pain on inside of knee. Had 3 injections of Eufflexa and had total relief for 3 years! Now having knee pain again and am scheduled for Supartz so will see how that compares. Don't know why the change in drug unless just different clinic prescribing different drug.

My first shot cause my knee to have increased pain. The second shot caused my knee to swell, and greatly increased the pain. The third shot, cause hives. Resulting in a fast joint replacement to try and get the Euflexxa out of my joint. Too late for that, and now FIVE years later, one knee replacement, I suffer from a blood immunity, hives that cause me immense agony all the time. From head to the bottom of my feet. I would never suggest this for anyone!

Had (3) series of injections in Sept. 2013. was unable to walk for 15 minutes before taking injections. Gained walking stability back but notice a tingle numbness in knee almost like poor circulation but injections were very very helpful.

I have had one set of euflexxa 6 months ago in my right and left knee..I was pain free for about 5 months and then I knew it was time to make an apt to go in and start the shots all over again. I hope the next set of shots give me longer relief if they don't, I will not do it again..

One doctor i consulted called it snake oil. I found another doctor who said 50/50 chance of this non envasive (three shots) treatment. For me, it has served as an effective solution to revitalize my knees. I feel like i"m 45 again. It has been less than a month since i completed the series but i find i have more flexibility than i dreamed i could have again.

I did my homework, read the reviews, and decided it was worth it to stave off knee replacement. It had absolutely no effect whatsoever on my problem. I still have just as much pain as before. I am 58 female not in the best of physical shape and 40 lbs overweight.

I had significant knee pain due to torn meniscus and arthritis. A series of Euflexxa injections gave me more than a year virtually pain-free. I am now on my second series and treating the other knee as well, and so far feeling some good results. It is giving me my life back.

Major runaround re insurance, Medicare, etc. But Part B covered this expensive drug except for a reasonable co-pay. Injection was very quick; less painful than a bee sting. Results are good after only 1 injection. Looking forward to completing the series.

I have a Mencius tear along with osteoarthritis .With this shot I am able to live without pain pills for the most part. The only down side is getting a needle every 3-6 months. (cortisone shots before this one) It also burns when its being injected which eases up after a few days. My whole leg has cramps and aches bad the first few days after the shots also.

I received the first injections in both knees for pain due OA. I awoke the following morning with intense itching around my face, neck, shoulder and head. One eye was nearly swollen shut and I had hives in around my ears, neck and shoulders. I also felt that my breathing was restricted. I took Benadryl and had minimal relief that lasted about 3 hrs. I made two trips to the ER hoping to relief from the agony. The orthopedic surgeon's office referred me to my pc for treatment for the obvious allergic reaction and cancelled my next scheduled two appts.. I was advised that there was no way to remove the substance from my knee. The allergic reaction continues with hives, intense itching, and purple splotches over my entire body. This has been an absolute nightmare. I have never had any allergic responses to chicken. From what I understand this injection includes cocks combs. The injection did seem to help my knee pain. I would recommend that people go into to this informed about the possible side effects, however rare they maybe. Read More Read Less

First time I took the 3 shots in 3 weeks. I have not had pain in my right knee since. I did have problems in left knee and had to go for the second series. The injections took effect, no more pain. 2 years since the first series. I am still pain free.
