Just let me start by saying I almost didn't get the treatment becasue of the reviews I read on this site. I am a 50 yr old women that loves to run. I had my knee scoped 2 years ago and am now bone on bone and was looking for some relief. My Dr. suggessted Euflexxa. I was excited for the chance of running without pain. Then I started to do research online and everything written was absolutely terri...

I am preparing for this Euflexxa and quite frankly I am more nervous than before reading the reviews on this procedure. I had surgery on 11/26/10 and I am still inable to function. I can barely walk and the pain is so intense I wake almost nightly to screeming out in pain. I know that I have to try something, I can not continue in this pain and on pain medications. I am a heart patient and diab...

Had the 3 injections back in May- by the end of June there was a great improvement in the pain. I am starting to exercise more and hope this holds for a while. I have greatly reduced use of any pain pills also.

I have had 3 sessions of this medication in both knees. It has been about one month since the last injection. I try to exercise as much as possible (age 65 ). So far the pain is still there (not as bad-out of 10-about a 5-6 pain) but I am able to walk a bit better.

I took my first round of injections one year ago and it really helped me walk with a lot less pain. I walk about 10,000 steps a day at work. I am taking my second round of injections again and hope it gives me another year.

I am very happy with the injections. Since I began taking the shots (about 18 months ago) I have been in less pain than before. I am also taking far less pain meds than before

I was given all 3 injections by a PA who didn't understand a "classic rejection reaction" (my doctor's words)Due to prolonged exposure to the substance, I have developed rheumatoid arthritis. Now EVERY joint hurts.

After my first three-dose round of Euflexxa, I was able to start hiking again with much less pain than before (OA). Euflexxa combined with a pain medication has made it possible for me to be active again--hiking approx 100 miles/month. A lifesaver! I am now starting my second round & am hopeful to climb a few mountains this summer, as well. Controlling the pain of OA has made it possible to keep the weight off, which has also made the pain of OA more manageable. I'm hoping to stave off surgery for a long time with the help of viscosupplementation.Read More Read Less

Have been pain free for one year. No late night pain and can actually walk for miles now.. Still have week knees, but no pain! Oh and thank you insurance people for taking away the one thing that makes me mobile and pain free. You're worthless.

I had really bad knee pain before the injections. The first injection seemed to help a little bit. I made the mistake of going food shopping a week later and the pain was so severe I could not stand on my leg. I had the next shot two days later and I can hardly even stand up the pain is severe, especially behind my knee. if my leg is straight I cannot bend it. if my leg is bent I cannot straighten it I am over compensating so other knee is really hurting. I'm in tears. I feel like a cripple. Has anyone else experienced this?Read More Read Less

More pain in knee joints than prior to injections. This is second round and first was not advantageous either. Prior use of Synvisc was huge improvement but insurance only covers Euflexxa. Thought it might have been time of year, Winter that made the difference. No more for me either.

I am on my second round of injections. No relief. I feel like I wasted a year trying this drug. Much pain and instability in the knee.

I am a very active person and my knee pain was so bad I could not walk. After the 3rd injection it took 6 weeks and I could walk a mile with little discomfort. I also ride a bicycle outside and an exercise bicycle inside. I am very pleased with the results of the shots.

This treatment is a waste of time and money. I'm on dose 2 and have gotten no relief. I will get dose #3 to see if there is a change, but never again!

This is the worse drug out there. Had ONE SHOT in July and have had none stop itching and hives. Been to a Dermatalogist and a Allergy Dr. NOTHING can be done. Just taking Clartin and Bendryl and NOTHING helps. Please think twice before getting this shot.

I have had one knee replacement, 6 months ago. My other knee is in poor shape, lack of cartilage. This knee will be replaced as soon as my strength improves. I have had three injections in the knee. Almost all of the pain is gone.

I began with hyalgan in 2008 (5 injections over 5 weeks) and in 2010 changed to synvisc (3 over 3 weeks) and in 2012 to Euflexxa and it has given the best relief. I have had 75 injections over the past 8 years--every 6 months--insurance pays 100%--many times relief is immediate--a good PA or doctor giving many of these and using freon and then injecting at top outside of knees (NOT front below knee!!!) using ultrasound makes it nearly painless most times -but I have had some (10 or so) that were more painful but only for a few seconds--most of the pain is not from the injection but rather the pressure felt in the knee during the injection--I also tried prolotherapy-stems and PRP in both knees last year ($$$$$ not covered by insurance)with minimal results--Euflexxa works better for pain relief.Read More Read Less
