Just let me start by saying I almost didn't get the treatment becasue of the reviews I read on this site. I am a 50 yr old women that loves to run. I had my knee scoped 2 years ago and am now bone on bone and was looking for some relief. My Dr. suggessted Euflexxa. I was excited for the chance of running without pain. Then I started to do research online and everything written was absolutely terri...

I am preparing for this Euflexxa and quite frankly I am more nervous than before reading the reviews on this procedure. I had surgery on 11/26/10 and I am still inable to function. I can barely walk and the pain is so intense I wake almost nightly to screeming out in pain. I know that I have to try something, I can not continue in this pain and on pain medications. I am a heart patient and diab...

Injections helped me for over 6 months. I am 8 months out and now repeating the series with hopefully the same results. Bone-on-bone in one knee; almost there with the other and these injections gave me good results. Rarely do I need pain relievers.

I has been over 1 year since I had the 3 Euflexxa injections on my right knee. After scoping surgery 3 years ago I became bone on bone. As an avid runner this was not good, so my ortho suggested trying this series of shots. After reading the comments from this site I was apprehensive about it, but trusted my Dr. enough to try. What did I have to lose. I am a spin instructor and steach weekly classes so my Dr, suggested I get the shot on Wed. and rest for at least three days before teaching. I did so for the three weeks and everything went well. As a year has gone by, I am just now starting to get the pain back in my knee and again I am an avid runner, spin instructor and distance walker. This shot was a miracle for me and I am ready to go back for my second series. Please never believe everything you read because you just might find something that works for you.Read More Read Less

I am bone on bone in both knees at 65 years old. I also have significant issues with my back, muliple disc damage, arthritis, and stenosis. The idea of bilateral knee replacement is unacceptable to me if I can avoid it by managing the pain as I believe that resultant effect on my spine by change in gait would be very negative. With all that said, I am treated at a pain clinic with medication for my back. For my knees, the euflexxa has been a Godsend. I do not claim to be without limitations in my activities, but I am able to maintain my independence, walk moderate distances and carry on my life. Euflexxa injections for me remains a significant part of my pain control program.Read More Read Less

I had my first injection this morning in my left knee. I am writing this review somewhat prematurely because I wanted to let others know that it was not painful. I almost passed on it because of the way I heard it described here. The drug is not designed to be used in conjunction with numbing medication, other than a numbing spray at the injection site. It is only 2 ml of fluid, much less than a steroid injection with numbing medication. The only pain was a pressure sensation and it was quick. Read More Read Less

Had 3 injections in my LK one week apart 3 weeks ago. Today I can barely walk or put any weight at all on it. Feels like something is 'locking' up in the knee. Very dissappointed. Scheduled for an MRI Tuesday to see what's going on. Originally x-rays showed some arthritis in the knee, which caused pain and stifness, but I was able to walk on it up to 2miles a day. Standing and stairs were painful. I'm 64, weight 168lb, active but not a runner.

I had the three injections treatment in both knees in October 2012. Unfortunately, they did nothing to help me and my knees and ability to walk, stand just generally move is worse than ever. I am so disappointed.

Series of 3 injections in lt.& rt. knees after x-rays to know where Euflexxa is needed to fill worn bone areas of the knee joints. It has now been 3 plus months since last injections. Discomfort is kept under control with 1 Aleve tablet a.m.& p.m. It would be nice if it would last the full amount of 6 months which is the next time I can have another series of injections.

I am getting my 2nd injection tomorrow. 1st one hurt but no more than cortisone, have noticed a little improvement. Had broken knee cap and torn meniscus. Severe arthritis set in knee cap. Had surgery 3 months ago, but pain was worse afterwards. Just hoping the rest of the injections continue working. Could not walk out of Walmart without limping, but actually noticed I made it out without a limp today, so I will update. Anything is better than surgery if it works.

Had a series of 3 in spring of 2012. it took a couple of weeks before I had relief. Wow! What a difference. I could walk with my grandchildren again. Did limit stairs which seems to aggrevate my arthrtis. Just started the series again and hoping for the same results.

No improvement in range of motion, pain & stiffness after 3 injections. This is my second round of injections. Have tricompartmental osteoarthritis in both knees and was hopeful to buy some time before having them replaced. No side effects, just no effect.

Just finished my 3 set of shots in both knees this week. The shots were fairly painless. I think maybe it depends on the person that does the injections of whether the shots are painful (per the other posts I've read hear about how painful they are). So far, I haven't noticed any difference in my knees but my Dr says it can take several weeks to notice a difference. So am patiently waiting.

Have had arthritis in in my knees for years have had multiple arthoscopic surgeries to clean them out. New doctor suggested Euflexxa after antinflammatories and cortizone stopped working. The injections were really painful for me, especially my right knee, cried and then couldn't put any weight on them for two days after the injection. Its been 6 weeks since the last injection and if anything my knees are worse, so this wasn't helpful for me at all.
