I've used the product Tenactin which has the tolnaftate as the active ingredient. I've found that it is the only thing I've tried that works. Now I'm trying it on my scalp. I have two small Ringworm areas, so I will apply and wait for the results.

Both my ankles and feet swelled up. My primary care Doctor treated it like a circulatory problem and put me on diuretics. It went away so fast and completely I think that made her wonder. I am allergic to Sulfa. I only used it one time.

I had a bad fungal infection on both my lower legs, on shin area and calf, for 10 years (due to diabetes). The 4 weeks of clotrimizole betamethozone worked wonders!!! 1st medicine to have any positive effect on my infection, however it didn't kill the yeast completely, and it's expensive and need a presciption. I am now using OTC clotrimizole cream and tolnaftate cream, and bought a $400 infrared light to keep the treatments going on this ridiculous infection. In combination with diet and a lot more exercise, they are working to keep the fungal growth at bay. I'm so happy. The tolnaftate particularly is working for me.Read More Read Less
