after the first 3 months on this medication, my good cholesterol has increased from 17 to 41 (above 40 is target), my bad cholesterol decreased from 206 to 140, and my triglycerides decreased from 473 to 160. I have experienced no side effects at this point.

Taking the Fenofribate and Atorvastatin caused arm and neck pains, and muscle weakness. Off and on taking the meds, and noticed the pain when I took them. I stopped, and neck and arm pains are gone. Hate that it caused muscle weakness.

I started three medications on the same day so I wasn't sure what was happening. I broke out with a rash that covered my arms ,legs back. When I looked up side effects I found the culprit. Needless to say it's in the trash, hopefully this will clear up soon

This medication gives me headaches, constipation, weigh gain, and did absolutely nothing for my cholesterol levels. Not going to take it if its not doing anything!

I have been taking fenofibrate for about 3 months. I have not had my blood levels checked yet so I don't know how effective it has been for my high triglycerides. However, after reading the user review about this altering taste, I would like to add that my taste of food has definitely changed. Food just doesn't taste good to me. Foods that I used to love, I do not really like anymore. It is hard to describe, but everything has either a bland cardboard taste or a slightly bitter taste. The good part is I am losing weight; the bad part is I miss my favorite foods. I am taking multiple medications, so I am not sure if this is being caused by the fenofibrate or some other drug or combination of drugs. However, I did read somewhere that this class of meds can change your taste, so I suspect it is due, at least in part, to the fenofibrate.Read More Read Less

I don't take this drug anymore. I haven't told my doctor. I refuse to take meds that make me feel sick. My cholesterol levels are good, without it.

I took this medication for about two months in 2012. Had diarhea, tiredness and still have a sinusitis, nasal problem more than a year and a half later. This medication is dangerous.

I have had no side effects with this drug. I could not take the first drug the doctor put me on so I was relieved when I had no problems with fenofibrate. I lowered by cholesterol from 237 to 167. My numbers are HDL:53 LDL:98 triglycerides:85. I am very please as is my doctor.

I've been taking this drug for 3 years due to bad cholestrol results. This drug along with simivastin have, after many long years, put my cholestrol in the good ranges including my bad LDL levels.
